Shoppers Drug Mart

I always come to this shoppers drug mart. It's in convenient location right next to A&W and petro gas station. Good store to refill your weekly essential bathroom/household needs. The cashier's here are nice enough and helpful. I can just go fill up my car gas tank then drop by here and get errands done. Lots of drinks and vitamin supplements if you're into that kinda stuff. Only reason I wouldn't give them 5 stars is because they seem to be a bit short staffed, you run into a lineup or lack of merchandisers to ask questions from. Overall, this store saves ⏳.

Updated Review:I spoke to soon with my previous review. Very poor customer service today. I generally use self-checkout to avoid interaction with some poorly trained in customer service employees. Today I had to use the register and interact with an employee. Very poor experience, took my business elsewhere. And they gladly served me with no issues. There are tons of shoppers drug mart in the area. Do not appreciate this time of treatment.---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Employees are very nice! Do not force you to use the self checkout. I encountered two very nice and polite employees today! Left such a lasting impression.Generally well-maintained store, with some items out of stock if you go later in the day. Some days some employees aren’t so nice, but Pleasantly surprised today.

I went to this location very often to mail some gifts to my friends, the young guy & girl who speak good English delivered very good services and I am so happy with that. However today I experienced ugly things in this location.I went to there 15 minutes before the Post office opening, so I wandered in cosmetic department and asked a couple of questions to the Asian girl on duty, she looks so rush and no patient to my question at all and she also spoke mandarin to me before checking. The way she treated customer was very un-Professional & un-Canadian like.At 11:55AM when 5 minutes before the opening, I went to post department to stay on line for the 1st one, after 12:00PM, the senior lady on duty did same thing and very rush too, I have to buy 2 box to delivery a gift to my friend for Baby Shower as the 1st one was stapled very ugly by her during the rush service which was unacceptable.Cherry those old days in Canada while every one stays calm with first come first service and everyone should stay peace.I am wondering if Post should pay the waster box due the their employee's fault in stead of customer's fault ? THANK YOU.

I have never felt more uncomfortable/ disappointed by any pharmacy. The pharmacists are not only rude and unwilling to help but make you judged. I would never recommend this pharmacy to anyone.

Don't forget to check the clearance shelves at the back corner by the Post Office. A clean store with your standard items and the pharmacy at the back, but there is also a decent grocery selection. The staff seem pleasant and helpful. Watch for sales as it can be expensive.

I never in my whole life given a 1 star for such awful experience of my life. I was treated like I stole something at the store and everyone looking at me. I bought a couple of bags of 3.25 percent milk and the first cashier was able to cash me out. I was stumbled upon a different cashier telling me there was only a 2 bag limit on milk and that was all the milk left at the store. Took away the milk in the cart and was immediately credited back with the remainder. They could have clearly put a sign specifying only a two bag limit but no sign was ever posted. Some of the milk was almost expiring and I was nice enough to help them out. Never again will I step foot into the place. Good luck.

This store i was trying to use my coupons to buy things… Maria the cash supervisor read my coupons. my coupons are legit. and she told me its one per transaction. i told her she can do separately i dont care. i just want to buy my items. she called Michael (whoever that is) and said i cant. and i said have a great day. if you use coupons… dont shop at this store ! not worth your time . they treat customers with coupons like a “lemme do you a favor” or i feel bad for you type of way. Nevrr coming here again. this is my update. thanks for reading

the shop is very clean they are signs everywhere for social distancing. I don't usually come to the store but I think I should come often because they have a good parking lot and Pretty convenient intersection ( northwest corner Highway 7 and Kennedy.) I see the staffs cleaning the cashier area and restocking shelfs. Only one thing I want to mention was, There was no line up and the cashier was not there I saw a senior went to the self-checkout counter, after he finished scanning the purchase he asked the cashier to come and put the code for him for senior discount . The cashier insisted that he had to do it at the cashier not the self counter. I interrupted and mentioned to the cashier that It could be done at the self checkout counter as my dad always does it at other shoppers locations self checkout. She finally went and put scan in her code and helped the senior. I think the cashier was not aware what she could do in the checkout area. I think this is good to mention so management can give this information to the cashier when training them it helps speeding up the time of waiting and less lineup. I recommend this Shoppers

One of my favourite Shoppers. They have a post office, cosmetic department and I feel roomy in there for some reason.

December 1, 2022 Thursday 7:40 pm . Theres this staff ( speak canto ) work in the beauty section was giving the customer worst service and attitude ever. Long story short , I was shopping for perfume but picked up the wrong one so I ended up exchanging twice. I know it was my fault but I did not knew this brand of perfume has three of the same looking bottle. There was no sample to try so I made a mistake picking the wrong one twices. The staff told me in the face I ruined two good perfumes by exchanging to ones I want which I did apologized. Why is she giving me attitude for ? Did she forgot she’s still in duty ? I mean if you don’t want to work just go home. She has the worst tone speaking to me . Clearly she don’t know how to treat customer and situation properly.
