My elderly mother had to wait an absurd amount of time (during COVID’s few scheduled appointments and no one else in the office) with no polite introduction or apology for tardiness. Hand washing for this dentist is poor and his gloves touch everything, even after having been in my mother’s mouth. The initial fit was ok and she was informed that the relining to one piece and fit of the new piece would need some getting used to.On our return to have some adjustments made, my mother pointed out where the lining was still thin and causing her discomfort. This clearly insulted him (by the change in his stance and demeanour). He told my mother she was wrong, his lining was good and that the adjustment time might take longer for her (or rather she should continue to get “used” to it). She cried in the car afterwards feeling belittled and insulted and believing she would have to continue eating mush forever. That is no way to treat anyone, especially not someone asking for help. I’m disgusted.
