Rude security on power trip and awful processing times.

I went there with my (partially disabled) brother as he was having many problems setting up his online account. The Lady who was supposed to help us said seeing how it was so difficult for me to help him set up his account why do it? She said He does not need it. ??? That is not up to her to decide. I asked her to hear me" so she could get a full understanding of why the account wouldn't open. I said my brother has been here 4 times already and no one helps him ; You give him a new code and none of them work. We wanted to know why the codes would not open the account. She offered a phone number for us to call. We did. The person on the phone identified (in less then 3 minutes) what was preventing us getting the online account up and running. He solved all the issues and had the account online in minutes. HE Listened. Why is Service Canada paying people to tell you to phone an 800 number instead of listening to the whole problem and trying to help? It's no wonder they have Security Guards in and outside the building. This Womans' arrogance would set many people off."

I've always had great service,prompt and very helpful ladies work here.

Wonderful people at this office! Friendly and helpful. I've put off coming here to make an EI claim because of horrendous experiences I had years ago at a different office. Crystal, who helped me, was so sweet and not at all scary ;) Thank you Service Canada Vernon!
