I have trained at a some of the schools in Burlington and this is the place to be. One of the most important elements of training is having training partners who want to help you, not try to beat you up to look good for the instructor. Alex is a master technician and coach and will work with you to improve. The training partners are experienced and knowledgeable and will work with you to get the most out of a training session. If you are serious about wanting to learn from a coach who has made world champions and be part of a team with experience then you have to come here. A bjj school is a place where you should feel respected and safe…this is the benchmark for Brazilian jiu jitsu in the region.

Alex Zahabi doesn't spare any effort in helping any of us improve. The culture is great and all of the higher belts are a pleasure to train with.

I have been training here for 18 months. Instantly I felt like a part of a big family. The head instructor, Alex is a master of his art. He loves to pass on his knowledge and see his students succeed. He teaches because he loves it, not for the money.The other students are awesome, everyone is friendly, there are no egos at this gym, no one trying to show off or prove anything. Everyone is there to learn and help each other, which is a reflection of how Alex runs his school.If you want to take up bjj this is the place to be. There is even a girls only class every Saturday.

4 yrs ago I sent my then 15 yr old son to Coach Zahabi to start his BJJ journey and not only did he welcome him into the family, the rest of the club did also! I started training almost 3 yrs ago now and absolutely love it!! Coach is incredible with his instruction and knowledge. One big family on the mats, no egos, no attitudes....just a great group of people all seeking the same journey. World class!!
