Very cozy adorable spot with a great selection. Quiet (and secret) spot for the locals on Weekends, busier during weekdays due to students.

The 2020 lunch menu is just spectacular! The poke bowls are packed with flavour and a variety of fresh ingredients that guarantee a perfect blend of flavours. The fish is fresh and melts in your month. A truly gem! Love to have CaLem during summer and Mia Cafe Club during winter months in the hood!

Cute little spot with calm vibe. They offer drinks such as latté with a hint of pandan or taro. However, my matcha pandan latté was a little too bitter... I also had the salmon poke bowl, it was good.

I saw some of the publicity of this cafe at Concordia University. I decided to look it up on social media and saw what it had to offer. It looked very unique and authentic unlike other local cafes in the area, it actually has a very creative menu and the concept has a lot of potential. I was excited to go and try their Taro latte and perhaps grab something to eat. I decided to check it out with time and went out of my way as I believe local cafes need support.I came in and no one was at the counter. A few minutes later a young girl came up. I started asking her about the Taro latte and other lattes and she didn't know too much about them. After finally deciding I will take the Taro latte she told she did not know how to make hot drinks and so I shouldn't order it. She said it in a very non apologetic way, which I thought was very weird. That was very disappointing. Then when I asked about the bubble teas and vegan milk options, she didn't know if there were any. It really made me hesitant about ordering any food at this point. If she couldn't prepare the cafe's signature drink what else could you expect. I decided to go for a bubble tea. Once she gave it to me, she went back with her coworker on the back to talk and giggle. The bubble tea was OK but it was really not the experience nor what the place has advertise. The customer service can clearly improve and hopefully the baristas can learn how to prepare hot drinks no matter what the season is and offer customer what the cafe is selling on the menu.Hopefully I will get to try their Taro Latter next time!
