Good service. Bought a 2s battery and the gentleman changed the cable end for me which was nice. Decided to order my baja Rey 1/10 scale from them instead of great hobbies. Will come here more if the service is good. Don’t mind waiting a little longer to support the local business.

Awesome experience. I needed a cable to charge my RC car battery and the owner custom made it on the spot and didnt even wanted me to pay for it.Very nice and knowledgeable owner. This place seems to have everything you would need for your hobby / RC needs.

I had a great customer experience and got involved with one of their events while visiting Ottawa. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. They have a variety of hobby items and they can also order parts if it's not available. Come check them out!

They stayed open late after I called asking if they had a part 10 minutes before close. They had it and waited for me to come down. Great service. Not positive but I assume owner operated. Excellent service.

tl;dr: good selection, cold customer service and relation, bad accessibility.There was no place to lock up my bike. Perhaps I didn't look hard enough. But that's alright, I suppose.The guy at the front desk didn't acknowledge me at all, just glanced at me then looked away.He later rudely told me to put my pannier bags at the front. (I don't mind doing that, I understand some people shoplift, and they want to prevent that)I found the model paints I needed, along with Tamiya's extra thin glue. Also found a Type 10 by Tamiya, but it was out of my price range.Brought my items to the front to purchase, again met with a cold-expressioned man. I paid as quickly as I can so that I could just get out of the building. I no longer felt comfortable being the only one in the store.Also later notice that there is no wheelchair accessible ramps.

The team at Orleans Hobby really takes care of its customers. I went in to get some help in repairing an old RC toy and the staff went above and beyond—for example in locating additional spare parts from their inventory, and in showing me how to fix the problem myself in the future. Now it’s as good as new! Incredibly friendly and helpful folks—buy from them rather than the giant online stores and keep a community jewel going strong!

Negative experience. Store owner is named JP". I spoke with him on the phone & he agreed to help me by looking at an antique train for sale in Ottowa. I live in the US
