This place is your typical Safeway usually you can find everything you need. Fruit is mediocre at the best of times but again nothing different from other locations

Just went to buy flowers for my wife for Mothers Day as I’ll be out of town this weekend. When I purchased the flowers I was met clearly by a mean faced lady who promptly wrapped my flowers and threw them on the counter. I politely payed and then asked her, “are you in a bad mood?”. She then replied “no” with a shrug.I walked out of the Safeway feeling shook as I am an Indigenous man and I have dealt with racism my whole life. I’m not saying this was because of my skin colour but I don’t think anyone should be treated this way especially when purchasing such beautiful flowers.

Safeway and Save on Foods. They had it good in Lethbridge for quite some time. The market was cornered. High fives all around. Then something changed. Competition happened..... and got schooled on capitalism. Safeway went from being the budget friendly go to option to what it is now. Nobody wants to actually go to Safeway except out of shear desperation and a couple forgotten items that you need NOW for dinner. I have never seen such a large convenience store. Has a lot of selection but there's a price to pay.

Most out of hand pricing I.have ever seen in my life. Small container of not very good strawberries $8.50. 10 small mandarin oranges $7. You don't even want to know what the meat was priced at. It's not all from inflation

Love the way this store looks and smells. Items are neatly organized, staff are pleasant and have no problem answering your questions and pointing you in the right direction. Bread is always freshly made, fruit, veggies and other items are always fresh and enticing. Kudos to everyone who works there. Don't stop, please.

Store was neat and tidy.ALEUTIA was the sweetest, most efficient and happy cashier who bagged our groceries.Hopefully we will be blessed to cross ALEUTIA's path again....what a joy, what a treat!Store has everything one needs and the plant area is really lovely with many options.Prices are as other stores...expensive, though they do have a few sales on to help...which was appreciated.

I’ve shopped here for 10+ years spending over $1000 a month and this past Saturday I was followed out to the parking lot by the female security guard and was accused of stealing a box of oranges. I told her that I took the box off the cart and the employee scanned it himself. She made me prove it on my receipt so I did. She didn’t even apologize for her accusations. I was embarrassed and will never feel comfortable shopping there again.
