My driving extract I presented was above 6 months old so was asked to get a new one by the white lady officer. Unfortunately on my second visit the officer was different and it was a South Asian looking older guy who said cannot accept my Indian driving license as it doesn't meet ministry guidelines. I asked to meet the supervisor, who was a young guy, who simply repeated my license doesn't meet their criteria. Very poor experience as many people have immigrated to Canada from my region and have been presenting the same type license for ages.Unfortunate that this type of bureaucracy and centres make it difficult for newcomers when the initial foreign license only waives off the waiting period allowing you to directly attempt G test which you still would have to clear to drive on the roads. Seems like an attempt to extort more fees or just ignorance. Mine was a non-chip license, but another chip license holder was also seen turned away. Hope this place gets investigated.

I took my G drivers license test at the Walkley location with Drive Test instructor Jean-Paul. He was such a delight. He was extremely professional and could tell I was nervous. He was even kind enough to offer words of encouragement while he was giving the exam. I made one tiny mistake and caught myself, and he reassured me that everything was going well and to not stress. To my pleasure, I passed! I know these tests can be stressful to many, so after such a positive experience, I wanted to write this review to let others know that not all instructors are intimidating and they are people just like me and you! Good luck everyone. ❤️

The employees doing the g2 test are clueless. Had me park on flat street and pretend its an uphill. When I put my manual car in 1st gear and shut it off he had no idea what I was doing. Pretty sure he had never been in a standard vehicle before. Do your test at Winchester... walkley will fail you for inaccurate reasons. I did my g1 here also and the half of the employees at the kiosks were far from friendly, but the real problem at this location is the g2 tests. The employees judging you are terrible. Failed me for a rolling stop" where I damn well came to a full stop."

Zip zap zoop!- Walkin for G1 (knowledge test), no online appointment needed.- Week day less rush.- Get the token first, then go withPassport, DL & DL extract (if available).(Depends on your luck to get a polite or rude person).- Sign, small eye-test & pay (card accepted).- Wait for computer based test, they plenty of (close to 20) touch screen systems.- Two sections, 20 questions each, no timer.- You can reappear any test same day if not cleared with some minimal fee.- Get temporary G1 card once done.

I visited the place after about an year for my G2 driving test. The test went well and I did pass it. The place hasn't changed much in past 1 year. There is a bus stop near the place so it is easily accessible through public transport.Hope it helps.

What a place. I understand they have to deal with all short of people and this is not easy. But the system is broken. The assistant is forced to run a roll call to assure all numbers giving are still waiting to be served (as people take numbers and return after 1h). But while doing the roll call the assistant remove numbers from people waiting, and we you ask them to verify why numbers from people waiting hours are not being called, they get upset, acuse of calling numbers, while they never did, what a nightmare. Again not easy dealing with people, but this one is on you, please assure you don't cause your own problems using band-aid to correct faults in your method of operation.

I wouldn't even be giving a 1 star. This place is so disorganized & BAD service! We came end of day on May 16th. Our attendant at the counter when our number was called (unfortunately didn't catch his name; a white man with a middle eastern accent) had no manners or respect! Came with family since my husband has a foreign driver's license and wanted to proceed with getting an Ontario one. From the first sentence out of the attendant's mouth was Are you from Turkey"?? And then says "Oh I thought you were from the Middle East!". We were like what is his problem?? Was that comment necessary? Totally rude and RACIST! Then he tells us the foreign driver's license is not accepted and couldn't give us the exact reason! Then tells us he will need to do G1 since he is not accepting his previous driving experience and foreign license! I told him he has been driving for 30 years and we had the necessary documents! And then asked him what was the next step then? He answers G1 and keeps repeating G1! I said “NEXT” step ..obviously eye exam

I got a driver's license in China and drove for 10 years.During this time, I was not penalized and did not have my driver's license score.I took the G driver's license test here today and he left me because of discrimination.the moment their demeanor and their gaze seem mocking, they are all in front of my eyes.When he was leaving the car, I said thank you for fail me, he turned to me and said, deposit money, take the exam again, go to another branch if you want.but god has seen everything in the other world, my hands will be on his lapel .because it is not easy for me to invest that money and time.

I wrote my G1 test here and it was fairly straightforward. I arrived at 7:05am, was #15, and I completed my test by 8am.The only issues I had are that the signage needs to be better to indicate where to take a ticket to receive service (did not know where and how to get a ticket until I asked the front desk) and that my license will be mailed to me instead of ready on-site like my experience in Toronto.

I came here to complete my G road test and I had a very rude inspector do my test. Firstly he did not say hi or anything was rude from the second he came to me. He was grumpy and kept sighing the whole time. He look like he did not care about his job and was one of the worst experiences ever. He failed me for a stupid reason and couldn’t even express or give me explanation. This is by far the worst location to get test done for sure. He was also saying that 20 year old shouldn’t have a full license.
