The Cookie Place

I was a little underwhelmed with this place . Not a very nice display . I did get the peanut butter chocolate cookie with a peanut butter cup on top. I took photos of it and after eating one half of it , I looked at the photos and noticed a finger print on the peanut butter cup and it wasn't mine....yuk I will toss out the leftover half. One and done with this place!!!

Stopped in a couple days ago to get our favorite cookies for new years and noticed they are all one size now.Cookies are not the same as they originally were when the place opened. They used to be big cookie globs filled with deliciousness..now they are flat with hardly no filling. Please go back to the way they used to be they were soo much better!

I was very excited to try this place yesterday. I’ve seen it and have heard great reviews. I went on a Sunday , maybe the good staff don’t work on Sunday’s, but I wasn’t greeted by anyone. Had to ring a bell, and behind the wall this big kid comes out with ear pods in his ear, hardly making eye contact. I asked him an allergy question and he responded “I don’t really know cause I didn’t make the cookies” so I asked if the baker who makes the cookies are in he said “no”. This guy had NO customer service skills AT all. Didn’t know anything about what he was selling, so we left. FYI cookie place, if you are going to have people work for you, make sure they know what they’re selling and maybe hire people with a little more “people” skills too. Completely disappointed, I would rate this place as negative stars if I had the option.

I ordered these cookies to Kingston, ON and they not only came very quick, but they were packaged well and tasted DELICIOUS! I already can't wait for my next order.

Almost $30 for 6 cookies when tax was added. At that price the expectations are set very high. Unfortunately they fell short of the mark. The cookies were extremely sweet. Of course you expect a cookie to be sweet but it was overwhelming. When you are dealing with sweet flavours to begin with they don’t need added over the top sweetness. It also seems as though they use the same base batter for each cookie flavour. The best that we tried was the Reese’s cookie, the worst was birthday cake. Overall a bit disappointing.

UPDATED REVIEW :(Feb 14 2022)Thank you so much for bringing back the OG cookies. The OG cookies are seriously the best cookies I have ever had and love the high quality ingredients you use! I am always so impressed how everything you make is top notch quality! Couldn’t recommend cookie place enough! I will be back to buy lots of cookies! And of course my favourite, the strawberry cheesecake milkshake!___________________________________________________________I used to LOVE the old cookies but they recently changed their shape and dough. Sadly it is not the same. I have been going to cookie place since the day they opened and brought everyone I know. I raved about them nonstop. Such a big fan! But I recently went and they totally changed their cookies and I was shocked because the others were so so good. I get that you only changed the shape and dough and they are still stuffed but they are very dry and nowhere near as good. I even tried to heat them up but they were still hard and dry. The old dough was so soft and chewy and just my favourite cookie dough ever. Please bring back the old ones!! I am begging!! I will add a 5 star as soon as the old ones comeback. I’m just so disappointed! Am I able to make pre-order the old style? If not, I sadly won’t be back.

Found this place from Instagram, it's alright I guess. We ordered 4 cookies, a 6-piece Nutella bites, and 2 milkshakes. The cookies are too sweet and the milkshakes come frozen (so you have to wait for them to melt, you can't enjoy them immediately). Cute little storefront and nice ambience inside. Not really worth all the hype, but nice nonetheless
