Great place for a break from driving. Adjacent there is a skatepark which offered added play options for the kids. Bring a sandwich and check out the bomber museum.

Nanton Community Centre Park
Going from Calgary to Waterton Park, my family found it a place to stay in Nanton (an small town) with convenience store, gas stations n Tim Hortons ( for Coffee, breakfast n snacks etc.). Aircraft meusem and community park are adjacent to each other. We always stayed there (3 times) for breakfast (homemade/ Tim Hortons) while kids love park rides away from electronics gadgets.

Nanton Community Centre Park
A great little playground for a wide range of ages! It was neat to see additions from locals like the fire truck and raft. Two separate play structures could keep littles and bigger kids safely apart but even the big one had some spots where littler kids could climb up. Larger monkey bars, lots of benches for parents, and a big green space for kids who just want to run.

Great park my little one really enjoys the multi age equipment allowing young ones a place to play out of the way of older kids on the big equipment.
