Sophia is an amazing trainer full of so much knowledge, resources and most importantly compassion! We learned so much from her and highly recommend both her and Alison to everyone we know. As a reactive dog owner I would NEVER be where I am with my dog today without her help!!!!

I would highly recommend Element Canine. We recently moved to London and heard about Element Canine through a friend. I reached out via Instagram and heard back from the trainers immediately (Sophia and Allison). I was able to book a session with them to learn more about their classes this week. They are extremely kind, knowledgeable and welcoming. We are excited to start a scent class in April!

I had private training with Sophia and also joined the Element Training Club online. Sophia was great to work with. She really took the time to get to know our pup and show us the best way to achieve our goals. She uses solid empirically researched training methodology that is proven to give the best outcomes. The training club online is also an incredible resource for dog owners with some experience and allows you to break down your training into more digestible portions and gives you exactly the tools you need to do it yourself, while also giving support from professional trainers along the way. Incredible service for the price!

I have worked with both Sophia and Alison over the last year with our dog Hazel. We've done everything from Grade 1 and 2 obedience, private lessons, and the scent class. Both Sophia and Alison are super knowledgeable, run very efficient classes with drills that are actually used in day-to-day life, and come up with various accommodations, modifications, and other strategies for every dog. Sophia and Alison are both available for quick questions or suggestions as well which is something I never experienced with other trainers. Hazel has hyperarousal and we really struggled with her excitability. Both were amazing at helping us manage her better and find better outlets to meet her needs. The scent class was amazing as we found her new passion! I greatly appreciate having them on my team to manage Hazel better. They really want your dog to succeed and make your life more manageable!

Highly recommend Element Canine; Sophia was amazing during our private lessons with our high energy German shepherd mix. We now have the tools and practice in place to set our puppy up for success and be the perfect addition to our family! We cannot say enough good things about Sophia and Element Canine training. Sophia has provided us with support and training from the time we got our 8 week old Australian Shepherd puppy to now an adolescent. We have experienced their puppy class, one on one training, and play dates and because of this our pup is thriving and so are we. We highly recommend their services and are always name dropping where we can. Aussies can be strong headed and determined, and we are so glad we started early so that our pup can continue to thrive as she grows.

We took our dog Wendel for puppy training with Sophia. I really respected the methods they used and the ideology they base their training on. Sophia was always open to suggestions and any questions about the process. We later asked Sophia for private lessons to help with our dogs reactivity. Shortly after almost being hit by a car Wendel became nervous and reactive to cars. His reactivity also extended and escalated with small critters on our walks. Walking became impossible without him having a meltdown. She has been working with us using the foundational training we learned in puppy training and building on this using conditional training to help with his nervousness around cars. She has taught us to use other tools to help stimulate our dog to meet his needs. We have made great progress and as Sophia says the results will come from consistency and putting in the work. Sophia makes things easy and less frustrating by setting realistic timelines and schedules for training your dog. Training does not have to take up your entire day keep it fun and short, makes your goals more attainable. I have recommended Element Canine to new dog owner friends and will continue to highly recommend them. Thanks for all your help and support.

I found Sophia and Alison on Instagram and have been working with Sophia on rebuilding my sport Sheltie's foundations for Obedience, Rally and Agility. I've worked with her through their online services like the Training Club and their Facebook group coaching. Sophia has a great eye for spotting and is always willing to suggest and try different options to try and trouble shoot fixing a skill. I wish I'd found Sophia when my dog was a puppy so that I wouldn't now be FIXING skills and we could have built them properly the first time around :)Highly recommend Element, whether you are local or able to work virtually.
