Poor customer service. I was in the stores parking lot. Called into the store as the clerk was finishing with a customer at the door. I was put on hold. After a while 2 other people drove in. I informed them that they had to call in to place an order as no one was allowed in because of COVID. The one guy called in and got immediate service. He had a direct contact with one of the people inside. I was completely ignored. I asked the clerk if the store was 1st come 1st served? He told me it was but you had to call and place your order. I told him I did call in even before the guy he was serving, and I was still on hold. Yet the customer called while I was on hold and was served before me. To top it all off there where 4 people in the store just chatting away. I can guarantee this is my last experience with Maslack Chelmsford and I'll think twice about any other Maslack franchise.I could not find the option to respond to the owners comments, so I will do it here. First of all the situation was preferential treatment, and lack of customer respect. I was the only person in the parking lot That would make you the 1st to be served. I called in as per the Curb Side requirement, no problem. I was put on hold, things happen. Waited 10 minutes before 2 guys drove in, with no 1 answering me. The new customers did not know what the procedure was and I informed them they had to call into the store for service. The 1 guy called in and spoke to his friend. Now I assume he was a friend as they called each other by name. I informed the clerk I was there waiting and he did not care. He took something from the new customer and walked away. The new customer even told the clerk I was there 1st and should be serviced 1st. The clerk said COVID meant a person had to call in 1st. I told him I was on hold and had been on hold for 10 minutes. That didn't mean a thing to him he didn't even turn around and look at me. So no matter what excuses you want to use the clerk was disrespectful. Also 4 employees standing around chatting with each other when a line is forming and customers are on the phone left on hold. I think you have serious problems to deal with, 1 is your being in denial of how your employees work. Anyone that asks me about my experience with Maslack Chelmsford I recommend they shop somewhere else. You have to remember mistreatment of customers during COVID will still impact you afterwards.
