Eel rice is so good, eel is live instead of frozen before cooking. It’s better to order in advance cause it takes 30min to cook. Taste is so good, it worths the price. Service is also one of the best.

The Chinese food here is decent, nothing to rave about. The portions are on the small side for the price. The 6 of us ordered 5 dishes as shown in the photos (at other restaurants, this would be more than enough) and had to order another after devouring them all as we were not yet full. Someone in our group commented that a couple of the dishes were not as tasty as at previous visits. The service was good, though, and the food came temperature-hot and promptly. There is street parking in front and in the surrounding areas.

I think overall is ok. A typical Canton style restaurant. For me, things are a little bit salty. Service is really good though. Cash only.

Quick Friday lunch, didn’t order muchWonton and shrimp dumplings combo soup was good, wish the wonton were bigger. It’s not frozen, but I can’t taste the freshness and much shrimp flavour in themService was good, very friendly and accommodating.

Open late! Until about 11 pm. CASH ONLYFood came super fast and the menu and service is in both Chinese and English. The service is casual and friendly. I would come here for late night congee and side dishes, as well as the crispy fried noodles, and wonton soup.Pictured: wonton soup (no noodles), how special fried noodles, tiny deep fried fish, veggie stir fry with fermented bean paste.Covid special: their late night menu / snack menu is all day.Panels are up to separate tables, they wear masks and check covid passports.

Alright, I read a lot of good reviews about this place and decided to try it out.The noodles was one of the best I've had in a while. Make sure you eat it while it's hot and don't let the noodles get too soft.Lots to choose from on their menu. Everything I ordered was tasty. I would opt out the ginger in my congee next time.Will come again and try different items. Lots of parking on the street, restaurant was busy but the waiter was fast and attentive. Filled up my tea often.The tea, what was it.. it very fragrant, I wanted more and more... I will come back just for the tea....

One of the few remaining places in the east side of Vancouver for good Hong Kong / Cantonese style congee and noodle place food, complete with signs of their current specials in Chinese all around the walls, and being cash only. A convenient place for late night meetups (open till 11pm).We went there last Wednesday for late night snacks" where you order a bunch of small tapas to share. We ordered stir fried pea tips with garlic sauce

There’s more than wonton mein here. We usually order the set meals that comes with house soup (I upgrade to fish maw or hot & sour for a few $ more), choice from select dishes, rice and dessert.

An unpretentious Chinese restaurant who offers late dinner like plain congee with little dishes to go with it. Flavours in the dishes are good, service is friendly & good. We have gone there a couple of times, it is now my go to place for late dinner for plain congee. Definitely going back again without a doubt.

Four not five stars because it could be cleaner (they don’t wipe down the booths). Service is friendly and fast. I really like their late night snack menu which starts at 9:30pm. That seems to have more of the dishes I typically crave when I want to have Cantonese food for dinner. We had beef chow fun, dry honey garlic spare ribs, shrimp & scrambled eggs, house special chow mein, black bean clams and snow pea tips. Everything was tasty and they’re open later which is awesome since we have to drive in from the ‘burbs.
