Shiff Family Dentistry
Dr Shiff has been looking after my extended family since the 80's and I haven't found a better general dentist in Ottawa. I actually look forward to seeing him for my check-ups -- he has such a kind, caring bedside manner. Actually, the poor review below is puzzling to me, as I cannot imagine Dr Shiff making disparaging or politically insensitive comments to any of his patients. My wife feels the same way. Anyway, we have also seen his daughter (Dr Dana Shiff) over the last few years, and she has been great too. They are a very nice team!

I've been seeing Stanley for 30 years and always liked his professional yet friendly manner. He is quick, thorough, and gentle with procedures.I was a little hesitant when his daughter joined the practice, but she has proven to be outstanding also. A real chip off the old block.Support staff and hygienists (especially Rhonda, a true gem) are first rate too. Very friendly and helpful.

I've been going to Dr. Shiff's for over 20 years. Even when I moved out of the province I still always came back here because they are the best. The staff is super nice , caring and friendly. They have taken care of my whole family and I can't thank them enough for keeping my families teeth healthy. Thank you Dr. Shiff! <3

Dr Dana Shiff is an excellent dentist! She has gone above and beyond to provide great dental care, taking special care of my daughter. My 8yo daughter and I have been seeing her consistently for the past 4 years. Her and the team at Shiff Family Dentistry are professional and very friendly. Have been treated by both Dr. Stanley and Dr. Dana, I have to say I would not want to go to any other dentists here in Ottawa. They are both professional, caring and experts at what they do. Dr. Dana is my primary go to practitioner. She's easy to talk to and always makes me feel comfortable. Would not hesitate in recommending this practice to friends and neighbours.

Dr Dana Shiff looks after my family ( 2 adults and 2 young children).We love going to see her. she is kind and very patient with all of us. She’s is so wonderful with the kids, that they both are always eager to go back. She’s great at explaining procedures to me and answering any questions I may have. She always takes the time to make me feel comfortable. Her team is equally as wonderful. Highly recommended!

Dr. Dana and Dr. Stanley are both truly excellent dentists! They take the time to explain things clearly in an understandable way, with a preventative approach, which I appreciate. Also, they are just both super friendly and nice which makes a trip to the dentist actually enjoyable. Their hygienists are also excellent - friendly, efficient and gentle. Finally, in all the years I have been coming here, they have ALWAYS been early or right on time, which I very much appreciate. Overall, I can't recommend Shiff Family Dentistry enough!

Shiff Family Dentistry will take excellent care of your teeth. My family has been going to them for many years. The dental hygienists and office staff are also excellent and very friendly. For dental procedures, Dr. Shiff will listen to your concerns and address them, and is aware of the latest techniques, such as freezing for patients with sensitivity problems. They also keep an eye out for, track and treat potential problems before they can become a problem.

Dr Shiff is an excellent dentist not only she’s professional explaining procedures clearly but she’s also very caring following up with me. I’ve always been scared and had horrible experiences with other dentists but with dr. Shiff I’ve learned to trust and slowly my anxiety is disappearing. I highly recommend this dentist and her staff are truly amazing.

First time taking my mom here and she was very happy with their services. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Dr. Shiff was very patient and thorough when explaining the issue. My mom felt she was in good hands even though there was a language barrier. She has had some bad experiences with previous dentists before and I am very happy to find one that she is happy with.
