Situated in the crowsnest pass area surrounded by mountains we stayed at the Rumpelstiltskin tower and the kids absolutely loved it. A very enchanting experience, all the small details inside and outside of the cottages were very well thought through and executed. it was in close proximity of the city so we could go out for dinner/ breakfast within a 5 minute drive. the views from the cabin and the city were absolutely stunning. Definitely worth a visit if you are in the area. I will definitely be returning for a stay in the summer.

This place is totally amazing. We stopped by last August to take a look and were totally impressed with a well thought out plan on these cute themed cottages. We stopped there in May on our way through the Crowsnest pass and were so impressed to see they have added additional cottages. I would highly recommend taking the time to check these out.

Absolutely wonderful! So magical and mystical. It makes me feel like a kid again. Love the attention to detail and how unique each cottage is. Kiddos absolutely love it! Just like living in a fairytale book!

This was our second trip out to Charmed. The first time we stayed in Jack’s and this trip we were in the Lost Boys Treehouse. We found the treehouse a lot roomier than Jack’s but would still have loved to have a dining table inside. We toured Wendys townhouse and loved how open and roomy it was and that it had a dining table. We will definitely be staying there next time.My only concerns during the trip were the lack of railings in treehouse (there is a railing halfway down on one side) and Wendy’s and the fact that there are no gates at the top of all the stairs/ladders. We travelled with our 5, 3 and 1.5 year old. We were constantly anxious that our toddler was going to fall down the stairs or off the deck or loft area and couldn’t really relax and enjoy our stay as much as we would have liked. Of course he was absolutely thrilled with all the things to climb!Would love to see kitchen tables in all the cottages as well as more child safety features. The addition of some extras such as a toaster, kettle and coffee maker would also be amazing and make it easier to pack for the trip!We loved all the attention to detail in the lost boys treehouse, the kids had so much fun exploring and loved the slide and look out.Would love to see a pool and playground be built so the kids have even more to do.We will definitely be going back, the kids are already begging us to book another trip and my husband and I love it as much as they do!The service was also great, anytime we needed anything, Jody was very prompt in making sure we were taken care of.Thanks for another great trip!

*Tip - the newer cabins in Wonder Way seem to be more spacious and have kitchenettes with sinks! That is where we will book next time if we come back*This place is pretty adorable and the concept is absolutely magical but I feel there are a few things lacking.Firstly it is advertised as a 'resort' yet there are no amenities other than the cabin you have rented. No playgrounds, no activities, no themed pathways/cute things for kids to see, no small convenience shop/place to buy souvenirs (I am that lame person who buys a magnet or postcard everywhere we go). It's literally just the collection of cabins. We stayed in Storybook Square in Rapunzel's Cottage as a couple with an almost 3 year old, and our dog. Our friends rented the Midsummer Cottage with their almost 3 year old too.Travelling in April - meant the weather wasn't super amazing when the sun went down so we needed to do dishes inside and there is literally no space to do this. No space to visit inside, no chairs/table and the 'kitchenette' doesn't have a sink. There is one tiny area of work surface and that's it. Summertime will alleviate some of these problems but at this time of year it was tricky.Rapunzel's Cottage is advertised as sleeping 6, but the only bed appropriate for our almost 3 year old was almost too small for her, and the others were up very high ladders. It felt very tight. It also got pretty warm inside on the day it was sunny out so I can imagine the cabins being very very hot in summer. Our dogs bed had to be put in the middle of the cabin and we had to move it to get in and out so it's very very tight (our dog is 40lbs, not huge).Midsummer Cottage had VERY high beds too so not appropriate for young toddlers and our friends ended up co sleeping. There's no running water in that cabin because the bathroom is detached, and the position of the Midsummer Cottage bathroom bathroom + hot tub is very public. The hot tubs are very small, and when a cabin is advertised as sleeping 6 we were expecting a 6 person hot tub. The hot tubs are for 2 adults and feel like they belong at a romantic resort, when the actual concept is very family friendly. Bigger hot tubs would have improved the experience immensely.I took a walk to Wonder Way and was invited to look at The Lost Boys Treehouse by the people staying there - and that cabin was much more what I was expecting from the resort. A lot more roomy, real stairs instead of ladders so safer for little ones and a sitting area, plus a sink in the kitchenette! So it looks like Charmed Resorts has made some improvements in the newer section. If you've got this far in my review, here are my suggestions:- For the love of all families install some playgrounds, make a fact walk way with stepping stones and fairytale facts on plaques on the trees? Or just some little activities around the resort that will make it feel a little more like a resort. A treasure hunt map in every cabin so kids have an activity or two? Honestly, the resort is a great start but it just needs those little finishing touches to make it great.- Make it safer in the cabins that are advertised as family friendly but have ladders. Gates at the top of the ladders that are optional to use/pin back if not needed?- Make it more obvious that the 'kitchenettes' don't have sinks in the storybook square cabins as this was surprising to us as when I read 'kitchenette' I was expecting a sink.We did enjoy our time at Charmed Resorts and hope that if we come back at a later time we see a few improvements and playgrounds installed!

We stayed in Rumpelstiltskin’s tower, and were incredibly impressed with the workmanship and attention to detail. The cabin was warm and cozy with nice amenities and many small touches that made it special. The location is very convenient with its close proximity to town, and is incredibly picturesque. However, traffic sounds were fairly audible. The hidden fairy gardens, swings, and cute toadstool stools add to the whimsy of this creative glamping experience. We already booked a Wendy’s townhouse for next year, and are excited to see the new cabins that get built. The creativity of this space is boundless. My one suggestion would be to either ensure each campsite had a swing, or to add a central play area of sorts for the kids. We will absolutely be back.

We LOVED our stay at the Charmed Resorts! Our cabin was adorable and was designed with the utmost attention to detail, from the decor to the engravings on the bed posts. The location is very close to town so it takes less than 10 minutes to pick up anything you may have forgotten. The resorts do not come with room service, so expect a bit of a camp-style experience. Owner of the resort was very responsive and friendly, however!

We loved it. Group of us went with 3-10 year olds and we all had a blast. Of course the cottages were ace, but I’ll boast about the pillows, hot tub, swings, & helpful service when needed. Pass Brewery was really enjoyed by kids and adults too. Great park set up by the pool in town and Lots of historical sites to pop in on your way out of town! We’ll be back next year with a bigger crew for sure! Thanks for the memories!
