I love this clinic. They are so amazing here and take care of your fur babies. From the front staff, vet techs and vets, honestly everyone is beyond perfection here. They are very reasonable priced here for their services and don't push for anything to be purchased or completed on my dog ever. Best place by far. It only took me 11 years to find the right place!

I came to this clinic after moving to the area, with a senior cat with a few challenging health issues. The doctors and staff here are incredible. They are very busy (with good reason!), but they are accommodating, professional, fair, and incredibly kind and compassionate. I never felt like I was being up-sold on unnecessary procedures. The staff (vets and techs) all worked with me on treatment plans and creative solutions to complex health problems. I got so much good help and advice over the last few years. Recently my kitty had to be put down when his health deteriorated suddenly, and the level of sensitivity and empathy I got during this process will never be forgotten. I would recommend this business to anyone who loves their animal companions and takes their health and well-being seriously.

The Dr's are fine for the most part. Our cat had done dental surgery and everything went well until after surgery. They refused to perform an in person check up after and asked us to take photos which we could not do so well as we aren't vets nor do we know what to look for. The lady at the front desk also has a major attitude problem. My wife and I feel strong undertones of racism coming from her from the looks she gives us when we enter. She is always rude on the phone and in person to myself and my wife. She did not call me back about picking up my cats food on 2 occasions, one after another. (which was in stock so it was just a matter of letting me know it was available) and I had to feed my cat kitty treats for dinner and breakfast for 2 days as I was afraid to call back since the receptionist is extremely rude. I have also realized they charge much more for products and medicine as I have moved to another vet and I am now saving 40$/month on the same items I would purchase from them. But in fact, we are not going mainly because the woman at the front desk seems to have a problem with being able to control what she thinks is authority over the clients that are there to support her job. She needs an attitude check and I'm sure I'm not the only ethnic client that has experienced this attitude from her. It's 2020 and I get we are in Pickering but again it's 2020.

The staff here are all so warm and reassuring. I immediately felt like I was in good hands as soon as I walked in. I’m here in town visiting from California and taking care of my grandmother’s dog while she’s away. Poor Toby got a burr stuck in his snout and I was desperate to help him remove it! I tried to pull it out all day yesterday-but to no relief. It was buried deep in his fur and he wouldn’t let anyone near it. After a restless night, I called Amberlea first thing in the morning and explained what was going on. They made room for us even though we were not existing clients. Dale was extremely comforting and friendly with my little guy and was able to remove the burr in no time. Thanks Dale! This is the nicest vet clinic I have walked into. Everyone was so helpful and I can’t recommend them enough!

Dr. Fulop and Dr. Mak are outstanding vets. Both of them treated our dog Charlie with the greatest care we could ask for. Several years ago, we moved to the UK and there was a significant amount of paperwork that needed to be completed for Charlie. They made it a very easy process for us and even helped with a blip in the paperwork provided by a government vet. After moving back to Pickering, Amberlea Animal Hospital was our vet once again and treated Charlie in his senior years. They made room for us when they were fully booked for several emergency visits. On Charlie’s final day, Dr. Fulop took us in, was so kind to us in our upset state and offered us a special room with a bench, blanket and pillows to say goodbye to our beloved Charlie. Now, two weeks later, we received a beautiful card wishing us their sincerest condolences for our loss. My husband and I are so grateful for everything Amberlea Animal Hospital has done for us. Thank you to Dr. Fulop, Dr. Mak and the rest of the staff, for everything you do for our furry friends. We hope to see you again soon with Puppy in tow ❤️

Great vet. Nice, friendly and caring. They appear to be no nonsense, they tell you what you need to know what they recommend and let you make an informed decision. Never found them to be pushy about anything which is a nice change from previous vets I've had.
