Great place to buy second hand stuff and contribute to a local animal rescue. They are a fabulous rescue that has a policy to keep animals alive if at all possible. Their farm is cool too!!

Critter Aid Charity Thrift Store is conveniently located in downtown Summerland. It's a bright, pleasant and clean store that is artfully arranged to be inviting. They have a broad collection of items from clothing for the whole family, Shoes and accessories as well as some furniture, household items and decorations. The staff are friendly and always willing to help.

I adopted our lovely boy about 7 months ago. He is such a sweet little love bug. Plus he gets along well with our older cat. The volunteers were wonderful, passionate and listened to us to find a perfect addition to our family.Nothing is better than coming home from work and hearing him yelling his welcome across the house, and its all thanks to this wonderful organisation.

Critteraid is a great organization. Provides so much to the community by helping animals of all shapes, sizes, types and breeds.The Charity Shoppe is a great shopping place. Volunteers are so friendly and helpful.I enjoy being a part of such an amazing organization. Everyone has such a positive outlook and always willing to help.

I adopted my sweet for baby Kitty from them over a year ago. He had health problems and with his senior Katie come on I'm happy to report he is now in full health and living a long happy well loved life. All the amazing work that the volunteers and the animal carers do blows me away. Definitely follow their Facebook page if you want to get updates and really cute animals all the time

This thrift shop has very low prices, some items even for fifty cents. Many items cost only a few dollars. The staff are very friendly as well
