Well run organization, good fields, consistent schedule and lots of fun for the players.

My Daughter has been with this club for 5 years now, and she absolutely loves it. It has been a great way to keep her active and help build her self-esteem, highly recommended!

My son broke a bone before the season started and the club refused to give him a full refund, citing 'administrative costs' - shameful to capitalize off a young child's broken bone. Before the injury, we were intending to let our son play. However, the league was completely disorganized and no one seemed to know what was going on. Coaches were not even informed that they would be coaching - terrible communication all around. It's unfortunate that a previously great organization (Byron Soccer) has deteriorated so badly.

A great club. Has been for decades. Provides kids a place to learn and play soccer while also learning important life skills

I am posting this review to warn people of the problems I have had with this soccer club. Summer 2019 - As the coach of a girls U8 rep team, I registered the team for a Nor'west Festival. $155. I paid for this with my personal credit card (as was required at the time of registration). The festival was cancelled at the last minute. That was bad enough, but it is December 6th, and I am still waiting for my money to be refunded to me. Three months after the cancellation of the Festival, after sending them several emails requesting my refund, they mailed a cheque to my home made out to the soccer team that I was coaching, which I have no way of cashing. I brought this to their attention immediately and they ignored me. Still trying to get my money back.

After our oldest aged out of the club, we’re back with our younger children! Active Start 2019 is going to be amazing. 40 years of greatness, and now getting back to its roots. Looking forward to seeing everyone!!

Highly recommend! I've played soccer through NorWest since 2005! I started out in houseleague at 4 and moved to competitive at 9. I became a part of the NorWest L1 Lighnting team at 14 and have played with them since. Now I'm on my way to playing university soccer! Such great people with big hearts who run this soccer club!

They promised a refund less an administrative fee for my U6 son. Because I was promised a refund, we never attended any games, or any practices. We never received a uniform, we never received a ball. They still have not provided a refund, and although I was able to get in touch with a few people about this refund who said they would help, now these same people are ignoring me.

Awesome club, great staff--we've played with them for nearly 5 years. The staff will go out of their way to help and the level of personalized service is amazing. Looking forward to another awesome season!!!
