Good food, but the hotel experience wasn't outstanding! Rooms were very dusty and had a weird moldy smell, the room window could not stay open to ventilate the room as it is a very HOT room, and what we thought was a fan in fact was a heater, we believe.Definitely a random road trip experience for us.

My husband and I were planning a ride and planned on spending a couple of days. We were about 46 kms away on hwy 40 and hit a deer, Chris and his staff are awesome. They were busy as hell when we got there, but still took the time to get us extra towels to clean up, brought a couple of bottle of water up to our room for us, and gave us a hose, a rag, and a bucket soapy water to clean the bike. They were very compassionate to me, as I was pretty shaken up the couple of days we were there. This is a great spot to go for a ride and if you want an old time feeling, stay in one of the rooms. It like going back in time. Great place to stay if you are looking for a bed, a shower, and a good time. We will decently will be back. Thank you Chris and the staff of Twin City Saloon.

Rode out on my motorcycle. A lot of other bikes. Shayla made great suggestions. Salad was fresh and colorful. Dry ribs where what I expected at this saloon. Will be back.

A gem of a wild west saloon, in a very fitting location. Longview has to be as close as you can get to Canada's cowboy country!

Visited there passing through for lunch. The absolutely WORST food that has ever been delivered to my table. Cheese quesadilla was processed cheese slices. Chicken (add $6) was maybe 1/4 cup. Beef tacos - small beef pieces dripping in old oil. with little parsley. Disgusting and inedible. Coffee, tepid, stale and weak. You have to try hard to make food this bad.

Stopped for food. Not very good like it used to be. Take poutine off the menu, as it is not even a close attempt at making it. Very sad. But great friendly service.

A group of 12 of us attended Twin Cities Saloon for my wife's Birthday, and I must note, I planned it without anyone else in the group knowing where we were going or where we were staying for the night. We did the full Twin Cities gamut; Dinner, Drinks, Live Band, Dancing and Overnighter in the Upstairs Hotel Rooms. It was an overwhelming thumbs-up from our entire entourage. The food was delicious, including the authentic-type Mexican fare available. The Hotel Owner, Chris, Manuela and the rest of his staff treated us with 5 Star Service from the moment we arrived. When Chris found out it was my wife's Birthday, we were treated to drinks, dessert, and he even gifted her a Birthday Hoodie from Twin Cities Saloon. Chris was an incredibly gracious host the entire evening, and went above and beyond to make our night memorable. The staff were all happy, friendly and efficient, and provided a welcoming atmosphere with amazing service all night. The rooms are basic with shared washrooms (as they are Circa 1937), but were clean, comfortable, inexpensive, and within easy access from the main bar area. Apparently the Hotel has witnessed paranormal activity in the past, but no one in our party experienced anything unusual, except some loud snoring coming from several of the rooms. Any potential experiences may have been hindered by the Joy of our festive moods :)I will add that the ambience of the Hotel Room area, located on the second floor, may not be for everyone, so have a peak at them before committing to an overnighter. Just remember, it's still about a 45 minute drive back to Calgary, so make a plan before diving into that snifter of Chris' Twin Cities MoonShine, which he distills on site. It put hair on my wife's chest....well, slightly more than prior :).It was the first time any of us had been to Twin Cities Saloon, but it will not be the last! We will definitely make the short trip from Calgary for a guaranteed enjoyable night! Thanks Chris, and thanks to your staff!
