West Coast Wilderness Lodge

We recently had our wedding at West Coast Wilderness Lodge and we couldn't have been more happy with how it went. Claire and the entire staff really went the extra mile in making sure our weekend went off without a hitch. Weather can be tricky this time of year but the Lodge nailed it in terms of keeping us informed and providing us with beautiful alternatives that let our guest stay dry! It is such an amazing venue, and we loved that the wedding package included a Friday BBQ as well. If you're looking for a wedding/event spot then look no further.

Beautiful, just beautiful place! We got a deck seating and we could sit there forever to enjoy the view! The view alone would warrant 5 stars but the food was pretty good, too!

If you're looking for romantic, it's hard to beat the secluded West Coast Wilderness Lodge on the Sunshine Coast of British Columbia. The view, great food, courteous staff, and a 24-year-old wisteria vine that fills the outdoor seating area are also hard to beat. Check it out!

Amazing staff, service, and food. I was looking for a non-alcoholic and refreshing drink, and the bartender did not disappoint. After a few quick questions, he managed to freestyle a few mocktails that were absolutely perfect and right on point.

We had our wedding here on thanksgiving weekend October 2021! ReallyRecommend this as an amazing wedding venue. The view is out of this world from the main deck. The food and service were fantastic!!! Everything was magical!! Our guests could not stop raving about the view and food.

We had our wedding here in late May 2022. The venue is beautiful - the view is serene, the staff are super friendly and attentive, and the food was delicious. All of our guests had a blast and they are still raving about our wedding weeks later!

There to attend a wedding, as someone who has dietary restrictions the staff took excellent care of us.Comfy, clean rooms, grounds were well kept and food was great.

I purchased a voucher for a 2 night stay and a zodiak tour a few years ago and found it recently. I contacted the hotel to ask about redeeming it and if there's anything they could do. They replied and said it had expired and that's it, nothing else they could do.I replied stating that in BC, vouchers & gift cards cannot expire, I sent them the relevant sections of the BC Consumer Act, and asked again if there's anything they could do to help.They replied and said it was expired and nothing they could do about it. I had thought they would credit the amount paid towards a stay, or helped in any way, but they didn't.They ignored several other emails, including emails requesting the legal owner, and the address for filing of a claim.The only recourse I've had to do now is lodge complaints with the Consumer Protection BC, and file a law suit to recover the amount I paid. I'm out from a voucher that was worth $500.0/5 - Would not recommend.

We just had our wedding there - May, 2022. It was a beautiful wedding venue. The staff was amazing throughout the process. Very helpful and communicated very well. The food was delicious and the views you cannot beat!

Beautiful property. The food was amazing. Bryan was very helpful with vegetarian options. But overall team is just superb. Owner Paul and Patty are the nicest people you will meet. I will def come back. Thanks for a great time guys.
