Great craftsmanship, but inaccurate price quotes.My mom purchased a vintage wooden table made of solid teak for $30.00 from a garage sale. The table needed significant repairs, so we went to Bershars who claimed he could fix the crack in the table. He quoted us $300 to $350 for the repairs, but ended up charging her $900 on pick-up (after asking for $950). We are pleased with the quality of the restoration, the table looks beautiful, but I would not recommend using Bershars because of inaccurate cost estimates. The gap between $300 and $950 is a significant underestimate in the final price. My mom felt scammed by the interaction.
