The bourbon burger (house made BBQ sauce, cheese, sauteed mushrooms and onions, arugula) was excellent and the service was great.

Great food and friendly service. We went for lunch, my wife (who is celiac) had the nachos and loved them. She indicated her allergy when we ordered and they checked ingredients for her.I had the Buffalo chicken wrap and it was very good. I ate it too fast so I didn't get a picture.

The staff and food here are incredible. My FIL lives in Kirkland Lake, had a debilitating surgery and was going to be alone on Christmas. I ordered a meal from the tavern and they had delivered to him - to also find out that they included, at no charge, a turkey meal. We were all so touched and he said the food was amazing! Thank you thank you!

Some menu items can be hit or miss but when they’re a hit, it’s a home run. Service is friendly and fast. Love their Caesar salad. GREAT wings. Usually order from their daily specials menu — lunch or dinner!

Had the amazing experience of calling in here to find out when they close (called at 7:15PM) and was told they close at 2am, walked for 25 minutes after a long work day just for them to shut the doors in my face and just simply said sorry we are closing". Absolutely pathetic for a business to do that. I even made a point of saying I was on my way over and asked if I had time she said I had plenty. don't support this trash."

Difficult to find parking as it is a popular spot for locals. Seemed like a safe place.Other patrons were respectfully not overly loud.

Good food. Quiet lunch time. Great server. We had a good meal, and a good chat. I understand from other folks the food can be hit or miss but for us it was excellent.

During the week at least this place is kind of dull. There was some regulars chatting and hockey on all 5 scteens. I don't really like hockey, so it was pretty boring. The food is pretty hit-and-miss. It seems like they have at least one good cook, or maybe a chef. But sometimes it can be pretty awful. In 35 years of working on the road, I hsd one of my worsr meals there. The spaghetti special, which wasn't exactly cheap, looked and tasted like it was out of a can of no-name pasta. Thin sauce with literally no ground beef or any sign of a mushroom or some other vegetable. The pasta itself was mushy. Nonetheless, I ate there with a friend 2 nights ago, the hot hamburger. It seemed impossible to screw up right? Well, that's what I would have said about spaghetti, so I shouldn't have been surprised to be throwing up 45 minutes after I ate. I don't have stomach issues at all, nor any food sensitivities. I eat anything I want, anytime I want. Actually, I live on solar power but for a while before I had it up, I didn't have much of any refrigerator and I think sometimes my food may have been a little dodgy. But I can't afford to throw out food so I ate stuff I might not have if I wasn't isolated from regular shopping. I didn't ever get sick though, yet I did from the Federal kitchen. It might have been the wine. I don't drink Merlot, so I wasn't sure if the flavour was odd or I just don't really like Merlot.
