I advise strongly against this company. My entire experience with them has been a nightmare. Everything about the service is terrible. The internet goes down frequently. You call them and they legit do nothing, so you pay for a service that doesn’t work 30 percent of the time. On top of that, they charged me 150$ for unreturned cable box that never existed. It took like 5 calls to their customer service to get this resolved. Then they double billed me and took 300$ from a pre- authorized payment when they were suppose to take 150$. When called they agreed that they took double the amount and that it would take 4-6 weeks to reimburse me. After all this I just cancelled the service because I don’t have time to call them every other week for a new issue. They charged me a 75 dollar deactivation fee lol. Honestly at this point I didn’t care because just to be done with them felt so much better. Plus they have stolen an extra 150 of mine so that should take care of it. I highly advise stay far away from this terrible company. I only gave it 1 star because I had to in order to write a review. My actually rating is - 5 stars.

I paid someone not to do their job, which was to cancel my account they did not. Worst company ever, I had an account years ago I canceled when I moved to Ottawa. They didn't" get the motemum which is 84$(outragous inflation)

Internet is slow and unreliable. But don't bother calling an agent because it's not like you'll actually solve anything or receive any sort of compensation for your troubles

The worst service ever. First they charged me $150 more than my plan without even letting me know and also they changed my plan themselves and didnt even solve my problem later. So I canceled their service right there. The call center representative named 'Janvi' was extremely rude!!!!!! Not so co-operative and moreover yelling at me for no reason. Go for Virgin, even if they have any problem they solve it by satisfying the customers any how. Virgin is the best!

When I first started with Cogeco I had a contract for a year for internet and tv at an introductory price(for the year) a month before contract was up they jacked my price up. I then notified another company for a better price and they notified Cogeco that my internet was cancelled with them on a certain date. I am now still getting billed for both services. I am now cancelling all services with them. They are crooks!!!!! I am not paying them for the internet service that was cancelled 2 months ago.

My Internet has been out for 2 to 5 days four times since July 1st! I work from home and need Internet. It's out again now. I do not recommend this company.

Don’t be fooled by the liars at cogeco. Threatening to charge 75$ for cancelling services as they are no longer able to provide the necessary internet services we need. We do not have a contract. They gave us a loyalty discount a while back and are now claiming that is a contract. There is no service agreement in the account. No fine print nothing. Please explain where this charge is coming from.You went from 4 star with us to 1 star.

Stay away from this company, all they do is rip people off and have the worst service. My last bill with them had a balance of $240.00, and when I called them to ask why I was being charged that much is because my previous payments didn't go through, not an ideal way of finding that out.

NEVER deal with Cogeco. They sold my elderly mother a useless package that does not include a good long distance plan, which is what she wanted. They sold her the best bundled package" they have

Internet goes down constantly due to “maintenance” and when this was occurring most frequently I also got an email stating that my rates would go up. The reason my rates were going up were to “maintain our high standards of service”. I’m amazed to say it but I wish I went with bell.
