Spruce Valley Boarding

The team at SVB are so lovely. I was nervous about boarding my senior pooch for the first time, but they provided a lot of updates on his activities. My dog can be reactive to other dogs, especially if they are high energy, but the staff were able to accommodate that with no issue.Thank you for taking good care of my pup!

This is a great kennel. They are very hands-on with the dogs, spending time walking and cuddling them. The daily activity updates are great. My dog likes staying here. The staff are great and respond fast to messages.

First time trying a boarding service for my little toy aussiedoodle Millie. I love that they limit the number of dogs they have which is great for shy/timid dogs. They treat your pets like your own and are well taken care of the whole time. As well, on their social media (Instagram) you can follow along as they post stories of the pets that they care for during the stay. Lots of enrichment, cuddle time and walks. The owner whom is also a RVT, lives on site which is great.I will definitely be using again. Just an FYI, to get a tour of the facility, you need to book ahead of time. Something I wished I had known beforehand, but all in all it worked out for the best. I think I will do that next time. A+!

This is the first time we have ever left our boy in a kennel and I will have to say I was very nervous. Spruce Valley boarding came highly recommended and we could not have chosen a better kennel! We picked our boy up after being gone for four days and he was completely exhausted from all of the fun he had. I highly recommend Spruce Valley boarding and I will be bringing our boy back again

We left our 2 year old lab, Echo, at SVB for 11 days while we were in Mexico and she had a great time!! We got updates pretty much daily and saw lots of pics and videos on their Instagram which made being away from her a little easier. We could tell Echo was very comfortable and happy there and had tons of fun while we were gone. They also offer extra options like enrichment treats and training which we loved being able to opt into for Echo. We also got a great report card when we picked her up which detailed everything about her stay. Everyone there is super knowledgeable with dogs and I 100% trust them with my fur baby. Echo will definitely be back!! :)

We discovered this place by accident as we were tired of driving 30 - 40 mins to our usual boarders and we are so glad we did! Force-free, individual walks, and to our pleasant surprise, they come referred from our vet as well as a great place to help with dogs needing some behavioural training. Super awesome place, not to mention the kind and caring staff.We will certainly be back!

I have left my mini Australian shepherd here twice this summer for 5 days and I am glad I picked this spot. They post daily videos and photos on Instagram stories, they will send you individual photos to your email, they will give you multiple updates, you can pay a great price for many basic amenities that are full of love and attention. I dropped my dog off and was pulling away and saw that they let him into the side yard to have him start sniffing while the other dogs were on the other side of the fence waiting. It had been minutes and it was like my dog forgot I just abandoned him and he was already in his own little dog world. Brought a tear to my eye. Highly recommend this place!

We were away for a few days and were looking into different options for boarding our dog for the first time. What stood out the most about Spruce Valley was that they limit the number of dogs, and one of the owners on site is a registered vet tech (Krista). They allow tours with your pet, and our dog really liked Hayley right away. We were nervous about how he would do because he doesn't like bigger dogs, but they slowly introduced him to dogs with similar temperaments. There are some extra options for training or additional enrichment. They give a report about what your pet does during the day, and post lots of videos. It was great to see him having such a good time and making some friends. I'm so happy he enjoyed his time at Spruce Valley, it felt like a fun camp for him. I would definitely recommend!

Best daycare! My dogs love going there and come home really tired from having such a great time. Even though I moved to the north side of the city, I still take my dogs to spruce valley boarding. My first choice for boarding too. Thank you for being so great with all the dogs that hang out there.

We were referred to Spruce Valley by another dog boarding facility because we were looking for a force free facility with more human interaction and a smaller dog to human ratio than most dog daycares/kennels offer. We were initially concerned having a smaller dog socialize with larger breeds, but Hayley and Michele did a great job introducing our pup to various regulars and she had a great time playing and hanging out with “the big dogs”.It was also reassuring that the owners live on site and one of them is a RVT - huge bonus! Loved the report card and regular electronic updates too.Our dog loved her trial stay and we look forward to travelling without worrying about our pets care and safety.Thank you!
