This was a cool venue. I was not expecting a beach vibe and was pleasantly surprised when I saw the large sandy beach dining area. Too bad we did not get to eat there though.I ordered the Fish & Chips but was quite disappointed. The fish was not fresh, it tasted dry, like it was bought from the discount bin at a supermarket. The chips (potato wedges) were flavourless and not cooked well, they were crispy on the outside but all crystallized potato on the inside. To be honest, it would have tasted better if they had deep fried the fish & chips rather then oven backed them. Nobody is eating fish & chips because they are trying to eat healthy.Lastly, the coleslaw. If you like eating raw cabbage, you will love it. I think they needed to premix it and let the flavours marry for a day at least.Not worth $18 in my opinion.

The food and drinks were good and not too pricy. We had the artichoke dip, which was great and had big chuncks of artichoke, the chicken quesadillas and the pepperoni and mushroom pizza, which were both very cheesy. The buckets are a must! They are all tasty and come in a cute sand pail!But it was so windy and cold even with the giant space heaters and glass walls. Our waitress was very nice and kept the drinks coming but we had to leave early becuase it was just too cold to stay. I would definitely recommend going on a day thats less windy or just avoiding it until the summer weather is here to stay.Also note that there is a large flight of stairs to get up to the patio and if you aren't able to do stairs, I'd stay down at the wicket.

I was visiting Victoria with friends for my first time ever for the weekend from Vancouver. We were invited to checkout Rooftop Patio, they were extremely welcoming and even though I heard how sick it was, I had NO CLUE there was a sandy beach ON the rooftop! It was very cool & IG worthy (we took LOTS of pictures lol). The watermelon steak salad was amazing, they had a really cool drink special (I forget the name of), and we took full advantage of their corona bucket deal. We had such a great experience we went back again that same night for pitchers of sangria and mojitos. All the tables were extremely spaced out, staff was on top of all covid protocols, we felt extremely safe and comfortable the entire time. I will 100% be visiting again and I highly highly recommend you to go check it out for yourself! 10/10

Bria was a wonderful server and made sure we had everything we needed and was so much fun! She learned everyone by name and could not have been more accommodating. The drinks were awesome too!!

Feels like a hidden gem! Went here at 530 on a Monday so it wasn’t too busy. Service was friendly, sandwich was great, strawberries fresh, beer is good but the happy hour menu is tiny.The other reviews about the food being bad are odd, they must have changed things up for better!

Hours are incorrect. It’s currently 11:48PM, and google says it closes at 1AM. Other than that, great bucket drinks, and good tunes.

Clarissa was quite rude, I know it’s a great place. But just rude to us trying to get in, we want to buy and not giving us a good experience. If our friends weren’t there, we would leave. Ruining our vibe, nice day! Too bad :(
