Picked up a few things today, was a good experience, the loader operator that helped us load up, was a pro. Only thing is it took us about 2 hours until we were ready to leave. Definitely recommend if you’re looking for basically anything, they got it all.

I am disappointed with this RB unit. I say more regarding the service and functionality in the tax department. I bought equipment from this unit and imported it to the USA. i had to pay a high tax in Canada and they told me that after importing and sending documents they would refund the taxes. But that doesn't happen easily. I sent several emails and they can't locate the VIN number of the equipment in the document, I had to resend it explaining. And after that they say it goes to the analysis department and the refund takes up to 30 days. It seems that they do everything to make it difficult. This is so simple but it seems that they make it difficult to return the tax paid. I'm not at all satisfied. I will remove the review after my case is resolved and update it here.

Paid for a piece of equipment with a bank draft deposited to Ritchies account with a reciept. Drive a few hours to come grab the equipment. Told to come back Monday. After asking several times for somebody at Bolton to check the bank account they revealed they don’t have bank permissions to even see if they have the money I deposited. After some more dialogue I asked if the teller has bank permissions and she said” no I don’t, do you??” Why would I have access to Ritchies bank account?? I’m just asking who does have access and to check and verify my deposit was made. Poor things had to do a bit of work but we’re willing to tell me to just come back another day. Lazy and disrespectful environment.

These people know how to do it and they do it very well, their Customer Service is second to none! A great place to do business overall!

Ritchie Bros. Auctioneers of of the best Canadian auction. Bolton location convenient for visits. Well established security on the yard. supervised good as well. The yard has a huge selection of trucks, construction, commercial and civil vehicles. If you want to sale your equipment and get something new and not expansive -definitely this is your destination.

Rip off place, they charge a 10% fee plus another $110 admin fee plus you pay tax on your used purchase, so you pay tax on tax on tax and then when you register the vehicle you pay the tax on the thing you just got taxed on, combined with I am fairly confident they either bid up there own items or it’s way to easy to bid up your own items with the online bidding BS. This place was once reasonable, no longer, you’re better off buying on the used market. Avoid this place.

My first experience cant recommend... (no complaints regarding to the lady at the desk) but for the lotes, not so sure...If you think you are not getting what you bought, go for it... they HAVE to refund you... the only problem " (maybe not a problem

Is this is how richie bros works? Never asked me anything about it that we need to fixed something and there will be charges , never asked me can we sell your item into a group where are other two trucks from somewhere else ? I don't know anything untill the payment was made to me with all the deductions saying that we fixed this and that even i dont know anything!! I would say zero star never selling or buying anything with these guys again.

worst place for picking up load. Took 5 hours just to load 4 forklifts. Management is garbage.
