I love shopping at Food Basics on Regent St. It is by far the cleanest Food Basics in the city. The staff is always polite and helpful. The shelves are always full and I’ve always found everything I wantedMy only complaint is that I wish they offered delivery service. I am a senior citizen without a car. I have been forced to order groceries elsewhere and - 1 one everything is more expensive. - 2 two, produce is not fresh and usually falling apart by the time it gets to my home, then - 3 three, Food Basics have products that nobody else sells, I miss those items. I wish they would consider a delivery service. I know several seniors who feel the same way

They didn't have any chinese eggplant which was a bit disappointing. I would also like to see more items available that aren't wrapped in plastic, especially cheese. The staff are super helpful and nice which is nice, but there are certain staples that are missing. Tried to get coconut cream today and there was none.

Cheaper prices than other grocery stores in the area. The produce is not always the freshest but the prices match the quality. Usually only 1 cashier available but they do have 6 self checkout machines.
