YOUR SPOT BARBEQUE
Ordered beef brisket - the meat was good, tender, but about 50% of the order was fat. Sides are very small. The order contained gravy (I didn’t order mashed potatoes) and there was no bbq sauce. If they work on their brisket presentation, I would go back, but they have to learn to trim more of the fat or it’s not worth the price. Sides need a lot of work. I think this is a new restaurant, so maybe things will improve down the road.

Had food catered for our school as a special hot lunch treat.Food arrived hot and on time. It was clearly fresh and prepared with care. Students were thrilled with the choice (beef brisket sandwhich, chicken strips and hamburger, all served with hot and crispy hand cut chips). The portions were generous for a kid's meal (staff who also tried the meals left full too).All delivered with a smile by the Chef/Owner Summit. Do not hesitate to book with this place for hot lunch, or catering.

Had pulled chicken sandwich, it was awesome. Very good atmosphere, happy people working there, excellent service. Value for money. Bought a bottle of wine, good stuff and reasonable price. Will be back for sure.

We picked up bbq for our first time from Our Spot BBQ tonight, and this place shows promise.I called our order in and was told it would be 10 minutes (yay for speediness!). They were just boxing up our order when I arrived, and the delicious smell of bbq filled my car on the way home.My husband and I both had the brisket plate, and we also ordered a side of baked beans. First, I'll say that their pricing is great; just over $30 for dinner compares to what we'd spend on dinner at McDonald's.The brisket is excellent; it's tender, flavourful, and not too fatty. I just wish they had put the gravy on the mashed potatoes instead of the meat. The garlic knot bun was also delicious.We didn't care for the bean and corn salad; it was a little strange, and the baked beans were undercooked and a bit hard.We're definitely going to try them again to try their sandwiches and some different sides.

In all good conscience I can’t consider “Your Spot BBQ” a BBQ house.Unless I misunderstood the Chef, they do not have a BBQ on site. They oven roast with a “smoker” attachment on the side. Yes, it’s cooked for a long time, there is that going for them, I think he said 14 hours. The result was that the brisket I had was mediocre. Very little flavour, no bark, and it was a little “Al Dente”. It is not the same as a true wood fired BBQThe food was not bad, the restaurant is clean and modern, but as a PSA, don’t expect a mesquite smoked Texas brisket with BBQ sauce.Chef was understanding and offered to do better next time.

Met up with another couple and ordered the platter to share. It was amazingly good!The star for us was their brisket. It was perfectly cooked, beautifully seasoned and melt in your mouth tender.A delightful surprise was their coleslaw. It had an unexpected brightness and really complimented the rest of the meal.I’d recommended this place to anyone who like barbecue.

I’ve never actually been to the store, but a family member works there and they brought me home a brisket sandwich. After the 40 min commute on the bus, the sandwich was still incredibly delicious. I look forward to picking the kid up from there and seeing how good the food is fresh. I highly recommend

I literally go out of my way to come to this place, amazing Brisket. The staff from the owner to the servers are super nice which makes the service top notch. Highly recommend if you looking for some delicious BBQ.

We ordered smoked chicken wings, pork belly burnt ends, mozzarella sticks and the watermelon salad.I truly can’t pick a favourite, cause all of it was exquisite. We washed it all down with a couple of very reasonably priced beers. On top of everything, the service was incredible!!I’m not much into writing reviews but had to, as this place just blew my mind. It really is, a hidden gem.If I could rate 10 stars, I would. Everything about this place, was on point.Highly recommend!

Surprisingly good little BBQ place in Riverbend! We live in Stony Plain but were in the area, and dinner time, with no plan. We could SMELL the BBQ into the parking lot! It's still grand opening week but already the food is excellent! My husband had the lamb shoulder sandwich and I had the brisket sandwich, with frickles on the side. Very good! Very juicy!!! We actually didn't even make it all the way home - ate it in the car lol (get lots of napkins!) which is why there are no food pics lol. We'll be back. Conveniently located just minutes off the whitemud so an easy stop in to pick up dinner. Thanks guys! Congrats!
