Mobiletec Small Engine Repair

Had a great experience. Bought a 20+ year old Lawnboy two stroke off of Kijiji that I couldn’t get started. Brought it in to be fixed and turned out to be the ignition coil which was diagnosed in front of me. Fixed after just one day and runs perfectly! Owner even called me after I picked it up to follow up with me. Definitely satisfied and now have one of the best mowers ever! Thank you!

I expected that I would be without snow blower for at least a week but picked up within 24 hours and returned in less then 48 hours. Best small engine repair that I have experienced in over 40 years.

Leaving this review as we had a not so great follow up experience. Initially our Craftsman mower of 10+ years was not starting, and Sylvio fixed it for $160 saying it was a clogged carburetor due to the fuel we were using. When I picked it up it was smoking a bit on startup, but I was told this was normal behaviour. After taking it home and using it, the smoke continued and gave off a burning smell. We took it back and were told it was our fault for putting too much oil or tipping the mower! On top of that we were told it would be another $160 to fix it, or we could sell it to them for parts for $20?! I dont enjoy leaving poor reviews, but I feel its only fair to let others know our experience. Quite disappointing to charge another full price repair when the clearly something is wrong from the first repair. Plus the offer to buy it for $20 is just unprofessional to be honest. Leaving it at two stars because the mower does startup at least, but now I will have to fix it myself.Edit: Now the owner is responding claiming we waited a few weeks" before bringing it back. In fact we brought it back after a max of 2 weeks

Great customer service. An obviously knowledgeable owner who not only does very thorough & prompt work, but also offers honest assessments.I had neglected my 15 year-old lawn mower and it badly needed servicing. I found Mobiletec after doing an online search for local small engine repair businesses. Called them up and was able to drop it off that same day. My mower was ready less than 24 hours later, looking nearly new and running perfectly.This is exactly the type of well-run local business I like to support and I will be recommending them to friends and neighbours.

First time I've contacted this place. Ang sounded like an honest guy who without hesitation gave advise over the phone on how to deal with a seized water pump on a pressure washer. Great job, the owner is very knowledgeable and easy to deal with. I would recommend Mobiletec for all your small engine repairs. We were expecting a snowstorm on the Monday and I called on Saturday morning after testing my snowblower that didn't work. It was picked up at my place a couple of hours later and brought back on Sunday. Thank goodness for the rapid repair because we used the snow blower on the Monday. We will be using them again, when the need arises.
