The cafe was such a busy place, but has sadly degraded over the years. My company and I quickly noticed how untidy, dirty and cold the area felt. A follow up trip to the washroom just furthered the experience. A near empty building, a toilet in a deplorable state, and staff sitting on their hands. I'm done for now.B

Beautiful store, Friendly staff! Could use a good cleaning, especially floors and underneath tables. Plus chairs put back to tables, Staff looked unkept and sitting on counters tops!! Not many customers in the store so there was lots of time to keep the place tidy! Very unprofessional compared to the other cofeee shops in this area! Please take this has constructive criticism. Thanks!

Stavanger Dr. Location: The pumpkin spice cold foam espresso, pistachio white hot chocolate (that I sampled from my sister) and chocolate peanut butter balls were delicious!It was my first time having Second Cup and I enjoyed the beverages more than other café's. I look forward to trying more from there.The service I experienced was fantastic.The atmosphere was pretty nice. Music was enjoyable to listen to.

Love this place. Fast and friendly service. I highly recommend their caramel coretto cappuccino (hot or cold), vanilla bean latte and their long fog tea latte.

Ordered an iced matcha latte and got a very dilute cup of matcha with a tony drop of milk. It was in drinkable I had to throw it out. They only had one person working the entire store both times I’ve been by.

Nice, quiet, and definitely not push through as fast as you can" atmosphere. Feels more like a café than the standard big name places. You actually have a chance to speak with the server.....nice! It's starting to become a regular spot."

This location is a pretty good spot for coffee. The drinks and food are quite good. However the location has gone way downhill. I get it its hard to compete against the larger brands. But not putting in any effort is certainly not going to get the brand anywhere.Recently the Espresso machine has been broken for at least a month. The wifi is up and down and nobody seems to be able to correct the issues. The wifi is very slow, get 2-4 customers online and you might as well use your own mobile hot spot. There is a lovely fireplace in the middle of the lobby that is never on, there are bricks/blocks falling out of the fireplace. The glass is removed or broken from either side. The leather chairs that were located around the fireplace have mostly all broken and have not all been replaced (even before the pandemic).And because there is usually just one staff member on lately they can't handle drive-thru and the lobby at the same time, or if a technical issue arises. Last week there as a power outage and the POS was down. The barrista could only offer free coffee or tea. They could not sell drinks or food.Outside of the store the Drivethrough menu board is damaged with no menu displeyed making the location look like it is not open.I really believe that Second Cup has a comparable drink line-up to others and could gain more customers if there were more stores in St. John's area.Please fix this store.
