They are so good at what they do oh my goodness. Diana is such a wonderful person, she loves what she does, very supportive, very caring, loving and never gives up, I love her. Thanks a lot Nellie's, you guys are awesome, please keep doing what you do.

They have helped me and my children so much. Bernadette is the best, I thank god for her everyday. She went above and beyond for us. I will never forget this place and the good they do. I fully intend on volunteering and donating back to them to help other just like me who need it.

WORST PLACE ! DONOT go here they hav a manager there called CANDACE she has no heart for women that hav been through abuse she speaks to you like she’s looking down on you ! Nellies is Noo help I was there nd received more stress than a helping hand !

Every nice and clean . They don’t bother you . You get hot meal . It’s very protective. Staff are friendly. You have a peace of mind sleeping there and there’s different floor you feel like you at home there . Thanks for housing me

I find it perplexing that an organization that is supposed to help women & children, leave them without furniture once they're placed into their new homes. Reason given was that the Furniture Bank isn't paying Nellies (or something ridiculous of that nature)...so therefore, the women are not given the reference which is required to access the Furniture Bank. This is especially tragic when women have young kids, even babies, and an empty home.I believe it mainly to be the person (won't mention the name) in charge of the shelter who is to blame...because when I contacted the main Nellies office, they confirmed that the women should be given a reference to the Furniture Bank.In an ideal world, when women/children are leaving a shelter, and into their new home, there should be a package of helpful resources, grocery voucher, etc. given to the women to help them get started. Shame on the shelter for leaving them stranded.

Nellie's is so good. Very clean environment just like home . It has good employees and professional management .But with all that, I give it 4 stars because of its kitchenIn , the 5 months that I was there, no one paid attention to the bad behavior of the cook there , She allowed herself to insult us, serve us with hatred and ignore us , And unfortunately, our protests did not go anywhere .All in all, if we ignore the kitchen part, Nellie's is definitely the best shelter in all of Ontario .
