Looking for a specific type of Caulk. The IT guy comes along and asks if I need help but clarifies he's just the IT guy. Gets someone to come help me. I describe the stuff I am looking for. I know the brand but not the specific item name. IT guy leaves. Comes back around the corner a few minutes later while I am trying to decide what product to settle for, Is this what you are looking for? It was! Had a good laugh that the IT guy was able to find it.

I recently oversaw a kitchen renovation and two flooring jobs with Econo Lumber. Jordan and Trevor are amazing to deal with! Their service is exceptional in every possible way. Even with supply challenges, they led the process with clear and open communication and great advice, always with our best outcomes in mind. So happy I chose Econo - five stars!

Reasonable prices compared with other home hardware/building material stores, good quality, spacious store. Service is kinda slow. When we came in at time to grab some paint for doors, it took forever but eventually didn't get any, however , the following day, we came back for the paint, we got it in a minute. Overall, we recommend it to you!

As this is one of the few locally owned lumber and hardware stores left in the city they have gone above and beyond to employ a very knowledgeable staff that will help in all your purchases. From a small store years ago to the size they are today Econo lumber has everything to fill your needs in all projects big or small.

Some of the staff is fine to deal with. And I am sure they are knowledgeable about their products, but I'd rather figure it out myself then get talked down to by someone so smug and dismissive at their front desk. Have some respect for customers.

I purchased my entire exterior siding, insulation window and doors package from Econo. Kevin and Scott made it simple. When everything was ready for pickup I drove up with a trailer from Saskatoon and Kevin had it all loaded while I dealt with paperwork with Scott and I was out on my way home in under an hour. They made the arrangements to pick up my stone in Saskatoon simple, and my windows were all delivered the day they told me they would. Highly recommend dealing with econo and I will definitely deal with them again.

Their so called web site is stuck in the 90’s. If the web site will load in your browser, they do not have any products listed. Why would I shop there, what are they hiding? High prices I bet.Clearly not customer driven, no respect for the pandemic, or promoting “shop local”. They don’t accommodate the customer on line, how’s the customer accommodation in store.I would not recommend shopping here.
