Food was delicious. Service was fantastic. I actually highly recommend the pickle flight for those who love pickles. It was something fun and different. I really dig your guys' vibe. It was great.

Came for Salty's lobster combo. Was delicious and made my day.Had a jasmine rice lager which went down very smoothly and had nice hints.Outside seating was plentiful.

As others mentioned, the atmosphere at the East Van Brewing Company in Vancouver is fantastic. I’m more of a drinker of spirits but I ended up enjoying the community lager (if I’m not mistaken, they called it that). Not a bad spot to watch the Vancouver sunset too. Great music too. East Van Brewing Company is a great spot for drinks and we’d definitely visit them again!

I was wishing to come to try the salt lobster for years, but it was really disappointed. The bisque was something like a curry soup with cold little pieces of lobster, definitely not a good combination of flavors. The roll was ok, but the bread was really small, dry, and stale. If you don’t like ketchup chips like me, you don’t have another option as well. Better check my other reviews. The beer was not cold…

Loved this spot! Atmosphere abs decor was super cool and the staff there was very friendly. We ordered the flight of beer to try out different options and we were not disappointed. Our table also ordered the flight of pickle, while I’m not a pickle fan, I thought that was a great idea! We also ordered lobster rolls from the Salty’s food truck that’s inside this brewery. That was quite enjoyable as well! We had a great time with our friends there. Would recommend uk anyone looking for a chill place with good food and beer!

Great spot! The atmosphere is cool, and the staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming. We decided to try the beer flight to sample different options, good craft beer selection. There's a decent amount of seating options with the upper level so great for groups. We have yet to try the food options but I highly recommend this place for a great time!

I am changing my 5 stars review from 4 years ago to 1 star, service has gone downhill really bad. Staff is not friendly at all. Train your staff to be at least a little nice towards customers. Not asking for them to be exceptionally nice, but just at least the basics.ALSO, 3 different beers and all taste the same.

We had a decent time at East Van Brewing Company. We visited on a Saturday night around 8pm and were seated right away even though they seemed busy.We got the Jasmine rice lager, Lobster combo, Nerds sour and Edna’s nonalcoholic mojito. The lager was pretty light and not bitter and the mojito was delicious. The sour was a bit more bitter than I liked. They also allowed outside food and we brought Downlow Chicken in as they have a deal with that.The downside was that we found that the music was a bit loud and made it hard for us to hear each other.

Very convenient spot close to the start of Commercial, with outdoor seating and a huge indoor space (top and bottom levels). There’s cool art hanging around for sale and amazing (rock) music. Saltys the lobster shack is the restaurant portion of this brewery and the lobster rolls are AMAZING. We ordered a grilled cheese, a Maine (cold) lobster roll full order and a half order lobster roll with bisque that came with a huge chunk of lobster! Everything was delicious albeit a tad salty but thats okay, I just drank more beer ;)Beers here were pretty good! I tried the jasmine rice beer (same one sold at the Lunch Lady, a highly recommended Vietnamese restaurant on Commercial) which was very light, and also the Hef. Would try their pale ale next time when we’re back!Saltys had last call just before 8pm on Sunday but the brewery still serves snacks (like sausages) afterwards so just a heads up!Will definitely come back!
