Meena Bazaar

I thought I wrote this review 2 months ago, but for whatever reason it never got uploaded. So here it is again.If I could give Gaurav, his wife and the rest of the team 100/5 stars I would!! My family and I visited Meena Bazaar back in April to find me a lehenga for a birthday function. For context, I am plus sized, usually size 18-20 for pants and XL or XXL for tops. It’s very difficult for me to find lehenga’s I like because oftentimes other boutiques turn me away saying the ones I like cannot be adjusted to my size or the they show me ones in my size that look very outdated (I am only 23).When we visited the store, I found the most beautiful lehenga I’ve ever seen. It’s a champagne colour with gorgeous floral embroidery and hundreds of gems all over that make it sparkle beautifully in the light. I instantly fell in love with. However, the display model was a size 2-4, definitely not something that would work for me. We asked Gaurav if it would be possible to tailor it to my size, and I was expecting the regular “sorry not possible”, BUT Gaurav said absolutely we can have it custom sized for you — I was ecstatic!Now the next hurdle is the time, due to various circumstances we needed the lehenga to be ready within 1 week. Usually because of shipping, adjustments and final touches it can take 1-2 months. However, Gaurav took this as a personal mission to get this lehenga ready in 1 week because he saw how much I loved it and understood how I am always turned away for sizing. He spoke to their supplier in India and had it (and some extra panels of fabric) shipped over in a matter of days, then organized a day for me to come in for measurements and final adjustments. On the day for final adjustments he even asked his tailors to drop everything else they were doing for the remainder of the time before closing to finish this lehenga for me. He, his wife and their tailors stayed past closing to make sure it fit, and looked right. And let me tell you, it was ready just in time and fits perfectly!!I will be forever thankful to Gaurav and the Meena Bazaar team for taking the time to help me with kindness and compassion. I highly highly recommend this boutique, especially if you are plus sized and will continue visiting for any future pieces I may need. ❤️P.S. Loved their collection! If you're looking for Indowestern clothing that is both stylish and authentic, Meena Bazaar is definitely worth checking out. My girlfriend and I had a great time shopping here and we will definitely be returning in the future. Thanks Kanika for assisting us.

In my opinion, this is currently one of the best boutiques in Payal Business Centre. So many unique styles to choose from and reasonably priced in comparison to most boutiques in the area. The staff is also super helpful and they have an in-house tailor. Would recommend this store to anyone looking for Indian outfits.

My family and I always find the best pieces at Meena! Their service is amazing the owners and staff! Radhika especially has helped me the most with the outfits I recently got. She is patient and super honest with what looks good or not on you! Thank you again Radhika:)! I will continue to recommend Meena to my friends and family :)!!

My wedding is in July, and I’ve made many trips to Meena Bazaar because the staff is so nice and welcoming. I am getting my reception outfit here and Radhika has been very helpful during my visits:)
