Spotted this place when I came from Toronto to Port Hope! The owner Pino, is fantastic and very welcoming. He does all the cooking and customer service when it’s slow. He made an amazing meal. And the view of the beach is spectacular. I will come back here again to get away from the big city!

Best fish and chips we've had so far on our road trip in Canada. With patio seating, overlooking East Beach in Port Hope, we ate melt-in-your-mouth cod, the crunchiest chips, and topped it off with a cider. The young staff were very friendly and we enjoyed a chat with 3 of them. Highly recommended.

We got a table on the patio, looking at the beach, so peaceful. I ordered the fish and house salad, I also had an expresso and cinnamon latte. The meal was delicious and the coffee was so very flavourful.The owner was very personable and kind, it was a great experience. Recommended 100%

NOT WORTH IT - overpriced mediocre food and bad service !! Went to eat there with my mom and they extremely overcharged ($10 for a mango bottled lemonade). Made us pay before we ate which should have been a red flag as well as the pre set 18% tip option being the lowest when we had to get our own water plus we waited 50 minutes to get two orders of fish and chips which was alright at best ( barley any chips ) . The service was minimal and they were rude and unkind . Now I have never written a review on a restaurant ever but given how bad the experience was . They leave such an awful taste in your mouth both literally and metaphorically . Would NEVER go back ... honestly feels like we got scammed , just WOW is the only thing I gotta say and a HUGE thumbs down !!

I really wanted to love this place. The owner was super nice and inviting. We were the only ones there and waited close to 40 minutes for our food that was very expensive and not that great. 60$ for 2 burgers and still hungry after.

Best fish and chips ever! With great views of the beach. The salted caramel latte was delicious too. The patio is nice, however does not have much seating. The seating inside isn’t the most visually appealing or welcoming and there are cob webs and bugs throughout. Otherwise it’s a great spot and would recommend.

We had fish and chips, it tastes great. Came with salad and fries. Best part is to see the view of the beach. Staff was also well behaved. There are high chairs available. We loved the experience.

A nice place for a bite. The location is kind of strange as it is located right next to a uranium conversion facility, but also a quaint little stretch of beach. The food was excellent, and the service was good.

Frankly, I never write bad reviews, because I understand the experience of being a small business in the service community, and I know how important social media reviews can be.Today, my wife and I were driving around Port Hope and were headed to the beach, when she said she needed to use the restroom. We decided to be courteous and make a purchase, seeing as we did use their facilities.We settled on the cheapest item on the strange blackboard menu, a $10 hot dog and fries. It said there were some craft beers available, and since it was my first time in Port Hope, I was hoping for something local. I was presented with a choice of 3 different cans of GLB, and, having spent nearly ten years living in downtown Toronto, I was very disappointed to say the least. My wife then asked for caramelized onions and cheese for her hot dog, and we were charged $2.50 for each. For EACH. So that meant a $15 hot dog and bun (3 slivers of onions and a pinch of shredded cheese) that looked like they [sorry brb I need to go help my wife who is puking in the toilet right now*] were from the dollar store if the dollar store sold hot dogs and microwaved, which the owner(?) told us was going to take 20 minutes to prepare. Last time I checked, you don't need to microwave a hot dog and fries for 20 minutes... much less than to sell it for $10.Never go here. Don't waste your evening like we did.*I did actually have to suspend writing this review because my wife was violently puking in the bathroom; I did not just add this tidbit for theatrical effect

The food here was really good! The smash burgers were 10/10. The property was also 10/10! I recommend sitting outside to see the wonderful lake Ontario. And the customer service was another 10/10! The manager was such a nice and relatable guy. (If your Italian especially). And the waiter, adrian, such a nice guy. Tip him well, please. Great place to eat any time of the day. 10/10 place. 100% recommend for anyone. And to be honest a little bit pricey but 100% worth it.
