Cee Jay really came thru when I was in a bind. Found me an excellent RV to rent with only two days notice. Couldn’t be happier with the service! Very professional and they go above and beyond!

100% satisfaction with MHTC - took my RV in for repair - everyone that I was in contact with was very friendly and professional . Most importantly they were able to fix my issue and had me back on the road before my upcoming trip.Thank you all .

This is a real review of our RV rental transaction/experience with Motor Home Travel Canada Inc in Bolton, Ontario, Canadacontract 18194Overall: we loved our motorhome rental experience, great selection of units, great people to deal with, competitively priced, well maintained newish RVsWe first heard of Motor Home Travel when we stopped at their section at the November RV show in Toronto and asked about their Vehicle Management Program which involved purchasing a new unit and then renting it out during those weeks where it’s not being used in order to earn some income and offset the purchase cost/payments. We were planning a trip out west to the mountains for some hiking and sightseeing as we have done every 3 years or so and thought it would be fun to drive the entire way from Ontario in a motorhome this time rather than fly out and deal with the whole Pearson airport ordeal . We are experienced RV renters having rented for vacations in Newfoundland, Sault St Marie, Alberta, BC and Alaska , but always flew to our destinations then rented C Class units once we got there. We were thrilled to have the opportunity to rent one of the many A Class units offered by Motorhome Travel with the huge windshield for sightseeing and the roomy layout inside. We seriously considered purchasing a unit but after much reflection felt it was a better choice for us to rent given that we are both still working full time and would only be able to use our unit for a few weeks/weekends throughout the year and those would be during prime rental season which would cut into our potential rental income. The rental from Motor Home Travel was not cheap but very competitively priced. We compared it to Owasco, Fraserway, Canada Dream, Travel-Rite , Cruise Canada and Toronto Camping Centre and none of these companies were able to offer a better priced package for our needs.Everyone we dealt with during the booking, confirmation, payment, insurance application , pick-up and drop-off processes (Samantha, Dominica, Kate, Lloyd, CJ, Karline and Pam) were all friendly, knowledgeable, helpful and professional. We did a very thorough inspection of our unit upon pick-up and made sure that every single little chip, dent and minor damage was included in the paperwork before we signed off. We also took several photos inside and out, and all of this activity was encouraged by the Motor Home travel rep we dealt with at pick-up.We drove from Bolton, Ontario to Oregon and Washington State and back again so we put a lot of miles on but they were all included in the price. We had no problems during our 3-week trip except once when we put the slide back in, I had some shoes stored on the bedroom floor which were squished and caused a chunk of the bedroom floor to break off. We had no issues with returning the unit, even when we informed them of the bedroom floor damage there were never any additional charges to deal with.Overall based on our experience dealing with Motor Home Travel I would not hesitate to recommend them to friends and family for either an RV rental or purchase.

As a first time RV renter, I have nothing but positive things to say about Motorhome Travel Canada!! The staff were very knowledgeable, professional, and overall very helpful with my travel needs. We recently rented a Class C motorhome for a road trip with some friends, and given our short notice and budget, the team was quickly able to find us the perfect rental and explained how everything worked in great detail. Very quick response times with any urgent questions we had forgotten to ask in person, and an overall amazing first experience. Had an awesome trip and will definitely be going back to MHTC!

On July 27th we have reached out to Motorhome Travel to reserve a 30 foot class A RV for a 4,500km trip through Ontario and Quebec. Our reservation was one of (3), the trip consisted of 3 RV (3 families). We were also informed that 30 foot class A RV were no longer available, a result we agreed to upgrade to a 35 foot class A RV. Upon pickup arrival we were told to wait (approximately an hour), following the hour we were given keys to the RV to preform a signoff function list and deficiency review with no assistance from the staff. Following an hour of inspection we finally were assisted by Eric who demonstrated basic controls and functions and was able to answer our questions. During the review, it was confirmed that the RV awning was not functional, we can also confirm that the RV was not cleaned, interior damage includes ripped leather driver seat and other damages. This was very disappointing as we under the assumption that we have rented a high-end class A 35 foot RV, it would have been fair to identify these problems prior to the reservation and allow us to inspect the RV prior or offer alternate options, or even refund our money. None of these options were given to us. We were given a standalone “Sun room” as an alternate solution to the automatic awning that we would not be able to assemble, so it was not used as it required two individuals to setup and we would have to incurre additional time at each stop, which with two young children it would be very difficult. The response we got from Motorhome Travel was (quote) “The awning use is not a guaranteed item when renting a motor home. The often return damage, rendering them inoperable.” In addition we were told that repairs to the RV are made during “off season”. We ended up staying inside the RV on rainy days. During our trip we noticed the indoor washroom leaked to the storage compartment below, we stored our clean clothes in gym bag in the storage compartment. As a result all of the clothes were wet and we stopped using the washroom all together. As you understand with two adults and kids this was less then ideal. In addition, the main entrance door hinge broke off and require ongoing repairs to ensure the door does not shatter. Prior to our return we had an incident, an adjacent RV as it was parking hit side moulding and broke off a plastic piece, this was photographed and emailed as damage to MotorHome Travel prior to our return. Upon return (August 23rd) we followed up weekly (multiple calls and emails) to understand what we owned associated with the damage, after 5 emails and 5 voice mails we got an quote for $542.37 for the plastic repair. We were also given a bill of $1,459.61 for additional mileage and repair, even though the mileage was pre-paid (in advance) and our trip used a total of 3,800km instead of the 4,500km. After multiple follow up requests, on September 1st we received an email with a revised contract showing we owned $252.09 that included a credit for the pre-paid mileage including the plastic repair. We requested that due the issues with the RV we felt a fair and reasonable resolution was to credit the contract in the amount of $252.09 and return the $4,000.00 deposit but keep the pre-paid mileage to offset the cost of the repair. On September 8th we got an email confirming that there will be no changes to the contract and we were charged the full amount inclusive of the full repair cost. As a consumer we followed our contractual obligations, when the RV was returned, it complied with everything outlined, we feel that we have done our part, and Motorhome did not. It does feel that unless a legal consul is involved consumers have no rights under these circumstances especially when transactions (payments) are made in advance out of good faith and operators take advantage of it. We are quite disappointed with our experience, and even more disappointed with the stance that Motorhome Travel took. We are still waiting for a call back from Motorhome Travel… September 9th, 2020.

In the last week of October 2020, a first-time RVer decided to go on a solo RV camping trip before the provincial parks closed for the season.I had originally booked through a 3rd party website and was fortunate enough to have come across Motor Home Travel Canada (MHTC) in Bolton/Caledon area. I was able to leave my car parked at their location which was absolutely convenient, the staff were all very friendly and I went through the self-orientation, loaded the RV and hit the road.My only wish was that the orientation was guided rather than it be a self-orientation for a first time RVer, however completely understandable with COVID-19 and the precautions that Motor Home Travel Canada is taking very seriously.Due to the freezing temperatures, the motor home was winterized (no running water) but you can still use the toilet with plumbers antifreeze from Canadian Tire. With full access to heat, stove, oven, microwave, fridge, freezer and campsite electrical, it was the perfect getaway. One surprise was how the rental units were not covered in gaudy self-advertisements like the other RV rental companies I saw in the campsites. Local campers even complimented and thought this was my own RV!Overall my experience as an inexperienced RVer was amazing, despite the struggles and occasional fails (check where the electrical cord is before you depart), the support and encouragement from all of the staff at MHTC really made my adventure.-----I must give a special thank you to C J and the rest of the MHTC team, I had carelessly left a window open and the heat running and was in such a panic as it was freezing temperatures (had no idea that the heat ran off propane)... Luckily my guardian angel C J reached out and helped calm me down, walk me through the steps to check and just made sure that I was okay.Thank you again, I truly had an impeccable experience.PS. The sides of the cabinet make perfect walls for a portable projector!Edit: I read some of the reviews posted and wanted to state that the RV was in great condition and that the team stressed that I review the checklist for any damage beforehand. I will admit that I broke a piece of the door, but the team was reasonable and understanding of wear and tear. Be sure to read the manual and go through the orientation videos.

We rented a Coachmen RV for almost three weeks in September-October. First day at the rental took a lot of time to get all the paperwork done, CJ was helpful and first impression was good. We returned our motorhome and left the keys on a box as it was said. Since then we have been trying to contact CJ or anybody else from this company to get our deposit 4000CAD back! Been e-mailing countless letters, calling and leaving messages but still no response. Giving time and staying calm but its six week since returning the RV. Really upset and dissapointed! If you wish to have a nice holiday and don't want to waste your time later on getting your money back then keep away of this business!
