i recently used Mr Shipton for my divorce and the experience i had was very disappointing. I would never recommend him to anyone. He never initiated anything or fought for anything for me.I had to ask him to do everything and he basically just moved the paper. That's not why I hired him. I wanted him to actually stand up for me and help me with my rights.Instead he would tell me to stop calling and emailing as it was going to cost me a lot of money. He put my pension up for discussion which she never even mentioned, disregarded child support issues i wanted to use to my benefit and now i'm paying for a few years. He was not motivated at all and clearly just wanted to settle and not fight for anything.I will say though, his assistant Jen was great. Although she was restricted to what she could do, she helped me more than Mr Shipton did., but at the end of the day it was his call and the majority of the times it was a huge disappointment. I would not be writing this review had it not been the worst and most stressful experience of my life.

I called Mr. Shipton asking questions. Instead of explaining he hung up on me. Now he has retired . I have called several times and asking whoever took over his practice to call me and no one ever has. My call has been forwarded to a voicemail. If someone is out of town during the time of my calls I should have been notified
