Elora Mill Hotel & Spa

We celebrated our anniversary after being married here 16 years ago. The improvements to the space and decor with the new owners are stunning! This has always been a fantastic restaurant and it only got better. Everything from start to finish was beyond perfect. Britt made the experience even more enjoyable.

My two friends and I visited the spa to celebrate a birthday. We were there for the day spa. Upon arrival we were greeted nicely and all had exceptional massages and the staff was wonderful. After our massages we spent the day by the pool. We ordered breakfast, lunch and drinks.I noticed that other individuals by the pool were being asked by staff if they wanted to order anymore food and constantly approaching them regarding drinks. However, my friends and I had to repeatedly flag staff over to order. While in the pool we were approached by a staff member who stated that day spa guests can only stay on site for 2 hours and that we had overstayed the time and had to leave. We were not told this upon arrival, and also noticed other people we spoke with attending for the day not being asked to leave. However, we complied, got out of the pool and approached staff asking if we should pay now for the bill or go change and then pay. The staff member told us there was quite a wait to pay, to go change and then pay. While in the change room the same staff member repeatedly (4 times) and noticing came into the change room “looking around” to see if we were still there to pay the bill. Upon exiting the change room- the said staff member was standing at the door asking if we were going to settle the bill.Again- in speaking with other day spa guests who were there since the morning, all of them were not asked to leave, followed into to change rooms or chased. We asked to speak with a manager and spoke with Shay who was absolutely lovely and tried to help manage the situation by stating they would try and comp our food and drink bill and see what else could be done as it was not okay. Shay connected us with Cece (Spa Manager). Cece approached us stating that she went to speak with the staff to hear her side and did not ask us what happened or allow us to speak about it. Instead, we received excuses about the staff being new and that there is a time limit but it should have been managed differently. She would not hear our experience or that others were not treated the same.We were made to feel extremely uncomfortable and the behaviour was frankly disgusting and I do not believe it was handled correctly. For guests to be targeted, followed, and treated differently is a shame. For a perfectly relaxing spa day and celebration to be ruined is unfair. The way it was addressed was also not okay. We do suspect that we were treated differently and discriminated as two of my friends are racialized. I hope that this will be handled in a better way and with more compassion and understanding. 2 stars.

We had our wedding here. Samantha, the Elora Mill staff & Pearle wedding team did an amazing job. The quality of customer service was better than I could have ever imagined. Their communication was clear and consistent throughout the process, they were very good at reassuring us and making sure things were seamless and as stress free as possible. I truly could not have done this process without Sam and the team who were on top of every single detail. Having our wedding at Elora was always a dream but working with everyone was 1000 times better than I could have ever imaged. They gracefully delt with the thousands and thousands of questions I had and executed a PERFECT day! I highly recommend Elora and Pearle venues to anyone who will listen, their level of detail and organization was next to non. Thank you

It was our first time visiting and it far exceeded our expectations. The service was top level, each staff member was incredibly accommodating and went out of their way for us each time. We stayed two nights and enjoyed the spa amenities both days, shout out to Jason (I hope I am getting that right) for the exceptional massage! It is a very busy spa so leave yourself plenty of time to figure out the lay of the land before your treatment so you can properly enjoy all that is offerred. My husband just brought me here for a birthday getaway. We will absolutely be going back. The room and little details about our stay were fantastic. The food in the restaurant as well as the service we’re excellent. We also loved the views from the restaurant, our terrace suite and the rooftop pool/hot tub. Would highly recommend for a romantic getaway.

Just back from an incredible stay here. It's not cheap but it's an incredible location and facility. Renovations are top notch, the attention to detail is incredible. Dinner was beyond good, it's a limited menu but really creative and so tasty. The service from beginning to end was friendly and attentive, the staff somehow seemed genuinely happy to have us there. Friendly, responsive and attentive without being kiss-assy. Beyond expectations.

I photographed a wedding here and just had to write a review! The venue was so stunning with gorgeous views and photo spots in every corner. What really set it apart was the top quality service! They really thought of everything for the couple and team working alongside them. My couple was so well taken care of. The food was also amazing! I would highly recommend Elora Mill as your wedding destination!

Came today for a visit to the spa. A friend and myself booked pedicures on our day off.We had a lovely experience. The lounge has a gorgeous view and offers complimentary cookies and tea.The treatment room has a full window with a fantastic view of the river. We were booked a shorter appointment due to availability, but were not rushed.As part of the booking you have access to the pool and sauna for up to 2 hours prior or following your appointment.When I booked the appointment, and in our confirmation email, we were informed that we would be offered robes and slippers upon arrival. However this wasn't offered to us. This meant I had to carry my coat and shoes around as we were ushered to and from the lounge. We saw other guests in robes. Unfortunately because of this we didn't feel comfortable using the pool or sauna while there.

Every single element of this trip was wonderful and stunning. From the moment we arrived, we were treated like royalty. Every single staff member was kind, considerate and thoughtful. The room was bright and superbly clean. The dinner was excellent and the view was incredible. We had the pleasure of visiting the cellar and the accompaniment of wine chosen for both the tasting and the dinner was a knock-out. (Thank you Kendra). The pool and spa was like stepping into a private oasis. We will be back 100% and would recommend this be added to anyone's list of places to see in their lifetime.
