Creekside Pet Boarding & Daycare
Creekside is the best daycare + boarding facility in Edmonton. The staff is second to none- so friendly, welcoming and caring. They work hard to gain the trust of your dog. Our St. Bernard is scared of new people and she won’t let anyone near her. The amazing staff at Creekside worked hard to care for her and make sure she felt safe with them to the point that each time she sees them now, she greets them with big kisses and allows a few to lay with her. We will never think of taking our girl elsewhere. Vet owned, we know that our fur baby is in the best hands because of the practices and Policies they have in place. Not only are they wonderful with the dogs, but the customer service is awesome. They have always replied to texts and send us pics of our girl when we are away. We cannot speak highly Enough about Creekside.

Our first time using this kennel. The staff are knowledgeable and welcoming. Marshall was there 2 1/2 days. He came home happy and tired. I couldn’t ask for better. The kennel is so clean I would sleep there. Highly recommended and I am looking forward to using their business again in the future.

I cannot say enough good things about Creekside Pet Boarding & Daycare! Firstly, my puppy loves it there. He is always so excited when we turn in and cannot get out of the vehicle fast enough. The staff always greet him with a warm good morning and I always get a personalized update with how his day went. He interacts very positively with them and I know this is because of how well they treat him and how comfortable he is going there. Second, the staff truly go above and beyond to ensure his wellbeing and his happiness. They are transparent when he has an off day and I appreciate all of their feedback. They care for the dogs that attend their daycare and truly treat him like he is their own. They are so accommodating with last minute changes or cancellations. My puppy is my world and I would only entrust them with his care while I am working. Thank you Creekside for being fantastic and standing apart from all the rest. You are all so amazing ! :)

We had our 80lb dog at Creekside for a total of 15 months for full time Monday - Friday daycare. He was 9 months old when we started him there. While there were some positives around socializing with other dogs and some very basic behaviour training, those positives were wiped out by the 2 separate instances that he was mauled by other aggressive dogs in Creekside’s care. On both occasions, we were not advised that anything had happened and had to find the damages at home. Both times he required multiple stitches to close the wounds. The vet costs were covered, but it was very concerning to us that 1, the attacks happened at all, and 2, that Creekside either didn’t know or didn’t want to tell us what had happened. Either way, 2nd strike we were out.Since our time at Creekside, we have noticed a drastic change in our dog’s behaviour. He’s much happier and his zest for life seems to have returned. That shift has me wondering just how bad the experience can be for your pups there. Couple that with the fact that the facility is a dirt/mud pit, and I would not be able to provide a positive referral to this business.I hope this review provides a reality check for those considering trusting Creekside with their dogs.

Brad, the kennel manager was very friendly and helpful. This is our first time taking our pup there and she needs an assessment in order to joined the group. Brad informed me that she was introduced with both small and bigger dogs and she was doing well with them. Will be taking her there often so she can have fun and get to play with other dogs.

When we dropped off our min pins we were unsure how they would do because our dogs haven’t been boarded in years. They did very well and staff were very nice. I highly recommend!

We’ve been using Creekside for our dog for years. They are always incredible with him and attentive to his needs. Our pup is always happy and filthy (a sign of a good stay) dog when we pick him up. The complimentary bathing station is a nice touch and they will provide an exit bath for an extra fee. We trust Creekside 100%.

Use this place cautiously. I began taking my puppy to this facility in the summer for half daycare days to attempt to build a rapport with a facility I would use in the future ect. After a few drop ins and little feedback other than being told that he’s doing well, just a high energy puppy, I asked directly how things were going and what my pup did all day (play, do his own thing, ect). The staff member while laughing told me my pup (8 month old large breed) is being targeted and attacked by the bigger dogs. I understand puppies can be relentless with play and had asked them previously to give him time outs to allow him to settle before given a chance to go back and join the group if he was being a pest.Clearly this was not being done but also they were laughing and watching my dog be targeted and allowing aggressive behaviour from the other dogs. There is a huge difference between appropriate correction and aggression. I can only imagine the culture of play to be toxic in this facility if staff don’t actually intervene and correct overexcited puppies as well as aggressive older dogs, or perhaps separate them. And failure to communicate this to both owners is inappropriate, as I would have stopped bringing my puppy much sooner both due to his relentless play and the aggressive dogs.I was most annoyed that had I not directly asked I never would have been told this was happening. And to top it off the staff member was laughing when she told me.This is a facility I would struggle to trust again but hopefully they have actually done some proper remedial training to staff.Their only perk was how great Kyla was in dealing with my concerns. She was kind, professional and communicated well. However I am still not sure I’ll ever be comfortable using this facility again.

My dog had very minor medical issue and I had to leave town. They took great care of him on short notice and were quick to give updates on his condition and even sent pictures so I knew he was doing well. They gave him all the medication as prescribed and gave me full update when I picked him up. Will definitely use them again.
