Would say that it is a huge international airport that works well. Only i've had trouble with immigration, waited a lot, missed flight, they looked like they are not really in a hurry eventhough the line was huge. And generaly staff was very grim. Its well connected with nearby hotels and a train. Lots of food and shops.

It's getting better. The annoying thing is there's always renovations going on! Escalators are not all working. Check in was okay, all security counters open. Arrivals went smooth and ArriveCan express was a benefit to get through customs. Baggage collection area is still a disaster. Tons of abandoned luggage everywhere. Bottleneck at the exits. There has to be better ways!

Huge airport. Upon arrival there are machines for online custom declaration, then comes the passport control and then immigration if you need. Staff at lost and found is quite friendly and helpful. There are terminal 1 and 3, and also a free train between the terminals and it is also possible to get to some of the airport hotels.

Today I experienced one of those feared incidents that every air traveler dreads. I was at this airport with a 2 hour layover between my flights in my journey back to the US. The customs line took just over 4 hours to get through and of course missed my connection. I was told I couldn't wait in the terminal and would have to make my way back through the customs line in the morning. I was also required to retrieve my checked bags and come back in the morning to check them in. The airline refused to offer any hotel or other reimbursement.I will never be traveling through Toronto again. It's a nightmare and no one knows what's going on.

Big airport with lots of crowd. Unexpectedly there was a magic show right after the security check, which was pretty entertaining to see. There is also a free cinema room for passengers waiting for their flight. Overall, there are different things to keep you busy before your departure.

What a tiring day we had at the airport with everthing was done by selfservice policies with four little kids ,did not even knew where to go to be done with the luggage and baggage things clear i mean it was a total mess without much assississtance

There are some decent shops here, but everything is quite pricey. The staff at this terminal are not friendly. The three individuals working customs were THE WORST employees I’ve ever seen! They were grabbing people’s luggage and tossing everything around, they were yelling at this elderly couple and they were absolutely cruel to the woman. They talked down to everyone. They really should consider different line of work because they should not deal with the public.

Fantaaaaastic Airport with great amenities.Staff is courteous and the immigration and customs officers on duty are welcoming to visitors.The self declaration kiosks save soooo much time.So the queues are short.The bags arrived in good shape and exit is wide so no overcrowding of passengers on coming out of the airport.
