I can't really say that the service I have received at Auto House in Sarnia was bad. Everything I had to get fixed on my vehicle was done properly. My only complaint is why do I need to drop my vehicle off by 8:30am and leave it there until 5:00pm? I used to take my vehicle to Honda House in Chatham when I lived in Blenheim. In Chatham you made an appointment and your vehicle was pulled into the service bay at that time. The technician would check out the vehicle, tell you what it needed, give you a price and a time frame of how long to fix it. You could wait around if your repairs didn't take too long and you were back on the road with your vehicle. Auto House in Sarnia needs to change how they service vehicles. I need my vehicle daily. The last thing I need is to take it and leave it all day long. This is really dumb service. The whole reason for an appointment is to take your car when they ask for it and work on it right away. Not to let it sit in the parking lot for 6 hours before they finally get to it!!

Incompetent and greedy!Took my civic to repair a remote key plus lock installed by another Honda dealer 10 years ago.They said they won’t do it because it isn’t a Honda supported change, but instead offered $1000 worth of repairs that I didn’t ask for!!!The next day took my car to an auto shop a block away. They said it needs $10 plastic from Honda and one hour of work. They ordered parts from Auto House Honda and repaired the jammed lock.

Not impressed. Brought the car in for scheduled service. Quoted $284.95 for oil change and brake inspection. They messaged us it needed new pads etc on the back and the front brakes needed adjustment. Also needed cabin filter. I asked what it would be and she quoted $660.00 plus tax. If I wanted the work done, I had to OK it through text, which I did. I get the bill for $845, including tax. I asked why the difference. No explanation, but they said there was nothing in writing stating the verbal quote. If you agree to get extra work done more than planned, make sure you get it in writingTheir verbal quotes don't mean anything.

Above and beyond, immediately fixed issues days before quoted with much lower cost and better service than any other shop I’ve been to! Issue to replace motor at significant cost was lessened due to them sourcing and working with me, but were able to fix the problems without needing to replace entire engine. Then as per my request, replaced failing starter and full brake service but completed days before originally quoted. Regardless what anyone says, the staff here has outdone themselves on more than one occasion - no matter what vehicle I’ve owned (better and cheaper service than others on my Subaru as well!)
