November 26, 2020In spite of some isolated negative news about Extendicare Georgetown we were very lucky to have my mom-Theresa Muscat- spend the last 2 months of her life at this facility. All the staff were kind, helpful, and cared for my mom with dignity, compassion and love. The medical staff went out of their way to meet mom’s many needs and keep her comfortable and pain free.Special thanks to Dr. Farragos, nursing staff and PSWs at Wildwood section of the home. My Mom has been at Extendicare for a year now. We could not have placed her in a better place. She is much loved by all the staff and loves them in return. She receives excellent care. Thank you to all the staff for all the support and great communication you have given our family.

It’s possible to die in the bathroom here and not be discovered for 6 hours. But thankfully the staff will falsify paperwork to try to hide the neglect.Disgusting.

Beautiful residence but has cats that roam the halls freely...You aren't allowed to have pets there but there are cats that live there.I am allergic to cats, thus if my grandmother did not move here, which she won't because of the cats, I could never visit her. Beautiful place though, especially if you and your loved ones like cats,

My grandmother recently moved into Extendicare Halton Hills six months ago. She is treated with respect and provided all the care she needs. I would like to thank all the staff and caregivers for all they do. It’s been challenging times working through the pandemic keeping our loved ones safe.

My mom has been a resident at this long term care facility for approximately one year, and the care she gets there is second to none. I would like to give a special shout out to the nurses, the doctors the PSW’s, and the management and administration personnel for their support in making her stay very comfortable and extremely safe. She couldn’t be in better hands.

This place should be shut down for neglecting the elders that they’re supposedly caring for. There should be stricter laws for these establishments so they take responsibility for the many violations they’re committing. They only care about making money and could care less about the well being of the seniors. This is not a safe place for the vulnerable!
