I went to this branch today for blood works and wasn't really happy of my experience. The front desk staff sounded rude, unprofessionnal and very inconsiderate to senior citizen. I'm not referring to senior citizen who's just over 60 years old but a very old couple who can hardly walk. The front desk staff asked them to step outside and wait in the car for their text message clearly not understanding that these elderly citizens struggle with phones and such. As a healthcare worker myself, it was so disheartening to see the lack of empathy especially towards such a vulnerable population. Is there any possibility that Dynalife can cater to our elderly population?

I will never come back to this location again. The front desk person didn't have customer service skills whatsoever. She didn't even ask me if I fasted or not. She was more focused on me putting the date and time I collected the samples I brought in with me. I obligely did put it on the bag but she insisted putting it on the sample so I asked if I can have my requisition back so I can put the collection time right beside where the test is because I didn't want to take the sample out of the bag nor touch the sample with bare hands in front of so many people but she ignored me and made it clear that I have to take out the sample and put the time of collection. Then she told me to wait outside for my turn. I sat outside for 1 hour and 25 minutes( fasting for over 13 hours) until finally I had it and went back in to check if they have the right phone number to text. They took me in instantly. The lady who took my blood and did my ECG kept on apologizing but it's a little too late for apologies.

This is my usual lab. Recently have had issues with no one being at the front desk to check you in (approximately 10 minute wait on more than one occasion ). When finally helped at the front desk and informed that wait time would be an hour front desk urged me to visit a new St. Albert location that would likely have a shorter wait time. Immediately drove to the new location just to find out they were closed for the day. Several other people arrived around the same time with the same complaint about being sent over by the front desk receptionist.The collection staff are very pleasant at Palisades and seem to have your comfort and care in mind. These labs seem wholly understaffed and overworked. Just really disappointed in getting sent to a lab that was closed and having to start all over with a wait time (or go elsewhere).

Giving two stars because the staff seem nice.Honestly, I think someone needs to come in and give training on the walk in/appointment schedule. I'm writing this review while waiting for my daughter to get her blood work done. I've been waiting 45 mins. The lady across from me has been waiting since 11am...her appointment time. While us two people with appointments continue to wait I have watched 3 names disappear from the walk in board. On top of that, when I walked in the seats in the back were completely empty while every chair in the waiting room is full.I imagine it's difficult to get a good flow in a place like this but I, unfortunately, am not a stay at home mom. I work Mon-Fri and weekends are for me to do all my personal things. I book appropriately so my day, and yours runs smoothly. I did my wait time, on the phone, for 30 mins. To talk to someone to book this appointment. Last week. I'll end this post by saying I really appreciate our front line staff but there are clearly things that need to change, bugs in the system that must be worked out. I understand their frustration but I also understand mine.

They get one star for their consistency, no matter whose out front in my experience you will be talked to with rudeness and disdain. It's probably not much fun collecting bodily fluids all day but it's not much fun for most people to give a sample. A little kindness goes a long way. No one's trying to p#%s in your cereal just the cups.

Had to wait outside even though there were a bunch of chairs available. Said they would text. Lined up for 10 minutes and no one checked the front. Long line up just to get kicked out. Rude service. Don't reccomend

Hard-working folks, dealing with folks that are sometimes boisterous and unmanageable. These folks try to get you in and out as soon as possible. They are sensitive to the fact that people have things going on in life and attempt to make things as comfortable for their clients as possible.

I was in this lab today and noticed it was understaffed, I'd like to commend Ms. Renata for being nice and managing patiently in accomodating every single person entered in the lab. Being Phlebotomists and receptionist at the same time is not an easy task plus dealing frustrated walk in people who waited long for their time. Labcorp?who ever own or run this lab I suggest to add more staff, after office hours patient will keep walking in. 2 Phlebotomists 1 med tech zero receptionist vs 15 to 20 person need blood drawn Its difinitely an abuse.

Website says they’re open till 6pm. I came in at 5:25 pm May 18, 2023 and rushed from work and a Filipino lady refused to take me because I didn’t have an appointment and they stop walk ins at 5:30 apparently. Why is this not indicated on the website? This would save patients plenty of time. I work in a clinic and if we are open till a certain time we accommodate every patient who comes in unless otherwise stated. Sorry not everyone has time to come during the day because we work.

I came in expecting all sorts of negative experiences, but I had an appointment 9:45, barely had time to sit down and whip out my phone to play a words game to pass the time, they were already calling my name. The front desk staff was friendly and respectful, the nurse and her student were extra friendly and really nice. They patiently answered all my questions. Frankly, it's the attitude you come in with that just my be negative here.My doc messed up my requisition so I'll have to come back for a last test, but that's on him, not them. It's frustrating but not the staff's fault.5/5, from now on, I'm choosing this location anytime I need a test done.
