I got halibut and chips with side gravy. Simple, straight forward, good classic fish and chips. Everything tasted exactly what I imagined it to be I'm content with that. Lightly battered, not oily good piece of fish. I'd return if i was looking for fish in chips when I'm back in the area.

Food is absolutely delicious. The halibut is very good, the batter is light and crispy. Coleslaw is probably the best I have eaten.

Tasty fish. Fries where mediocar at best. We wanted to add coleslaw to our order when we got to pick up and they took 10+ min. Overpriced! Very overpriced !I give it 3 stars because the fish was good and tasteful, the tartar sauce was plentiful and tasty. Over all, if you don't care for overpriced food or speedy service this is the place to go for some tasty fish.We got 2+ one of each fish as seen in the photos .

Fantastic and authentic fish and chips. My father loved this place and took me here as a girl. Love how they have maintained the menu and methods. Fish is light and flaky with a crisp batter. Chips are golden, crispy with just a bit of skin. Love that they still over the scotch bread and butter. Great meal, great price, great service. Bonus for their great new location. Bright and open, accessible and highchairs available. I'll definitely keep going for the best fish and chips in TO.

Simple, straightforward, good classic fish and chip spot.We've been going to Hamish once a month.Fish is light and flaky with a crisp batter. Chips are golden and crispy.It could be an expensive meal but we'll worth it.Recommendation: Halibut Fish and chips. Onion rings.If you want bigger fish for a lesser price, try Haddock as a fish.

We've been going to Hamish for about 10 years now! (Old and new location) Each time is always a treat! We usually order our usual seafood platter (unbeatable!) each month we come to this place. Recently, he made a new recipe called a deep fried burger. sooooo good!!! Very crispy and moist! We hope to keep our monthly tradition of having the best fish and chips!

My family and I were very impressed by how neat and clean the restaurant was. We went for lunch so it wasn’t busy. We ordered halibut fish and chips. Very generous portion. Everything tasted fresh. Thanks for being so kind!

The seafood platter was decent, the batter was pretty bland and higher in ratio to the fish itself. Fries were freshly cut and unseasoned. The sauces I wished were homemade, but they were just packaged tartar and cocktail sauces. Prices a bit high for the quantity but it's one of the better options in the area.
