The food was absolutely delicious. Every dish was mouth watering and decent portions. Stuffed plaintain was the best I have had in decades. Cassava croquettes exploding with flavour. The entire experience was perfect

Flavour, passion and culture. A great way to discover more about the Dominican Republic through food!.

If you've never tasted Dominican food this is the way to go. Her food is exquisite and the customer service is out of this world. Me and my friend have tried a lot of restaurants but we just keep coming back to BocaChica. Her food just makes you feel at home and I would definitely recommend it to anyone who is looking for amazing Latin American food.

I'm afraid both times I visited my experience wasn't great.First time we came at lunch but they had some issue with the kitchen and we ended waiting for half an hour and then left after they told us the chef had to go and buy some stuff. Second time we went for dinner and the food arrived after 40 minutes and only after I went to ask why it is so long. Eventually food arrived cold (I can only guess it was just hanging around without anyone noticing it should be taken to a table). We had a babysitter that evening so were and was anyway too hungry at that point to send it back.I think one problem is that you order via a QR code menu, so they don't realise you've ordered, but they might want to be more attentive regardless. We were just sitting with an empty table for 40 minutes and no one approached us. It was pretty frustrating. I hate getting up and asking staff what's going on, I feel like I'm making a scene. Definitely don't feel like paying for cold food that I feel rushed to eat it. Also quite annoying that you oay fir the food when you order and also give the tip. In other circumstances I would just get up and leave, definitely didn't deserve the tip.I gave it 3 stars because the people are nice (probably just need better training), atmosphere is also nice (there was a performer playing music and the place is nicely decorated), and food although came late and cold wasn't bad at all. But I'm afraid we're not going to give it a third chance.

The only reason I’m giving one star is because I like the cheese croquettes! Otherwise it would be a zero. I ordered and paid, and had to wait over 35 mins for my food which arrived cold. Furthermore, the chicken was the so sooooo so dry and god the seasoning — god help us all! As a British Colombian I was expecting more from South American food rated 4.9 — if you want real food go to the arches in Elephant and castle or the place in seven sisters!! The food here is terrible. The only redeeming quality here is the venue (CLF) which is great— BUT THE FOOD ISNT THE ONE UNLESS YOU WANNA LEAVE LIKE YOU WASTED MONEY ON CHICKEN THAT WOULD’VE BEEN BETTER AROUNF THE CORNER FOR 1.99!! BY THE WAY I SPENT NEAR TO £100 on food here to be utterly disappointed!! Bad service too! Don’t come to eat! COME HERE TO DRINK!

The food was exquisite, perfectly seasoned traditional Dominican cuisine with a twist of modern fusion. The plates were beautifully decorated too! Can't wait to go back.
