James was very helpful as the mechanical engineer. He worked with the trades enabling the desired outcome. It was a pleasure to work with Evolve Mechanical Solutions.

I've worked with James at Evolve on several projects over the years and he is very good at what he does. He certainly has a knack for finding clever solutions to tricky scenarios and has a sound understanding of the necessary codes required. He is very meticulous about making things work properly.

My partner and I are first timers in the restaurant and hospitality industry, so everything was very new and overwhelming for us. To make things more difficult, our build was located in an old building originally built in the 1930s, that had gone through its fair share of changes and had its limitations. James and his team at Evolve helped design and guide us through the mechanical for our new restaurant. He is very knowledgeable, and is meticulous about doing things right, safely and to code. I would not hesitate to use Evolve again on future projects, and not hesitate to recommend them.

NOTHING PERSONAL JUST A WARNING TO SAVE YOU MONEY AND HEADACHE. This company was hired for my restaurant. I will never deal with them ever again and I will not recommend them to anyone else. James was keep causing lots of difficulties in the process so he can charge for communications for solving issues. This company caused me lots of unnecessary cost and headaches. So not happy for their services. Amir Tabesh which put a review for this company 2 days after seeing my review is related to Roya Tebash which work for James at Evolve. YOUR MESSION IS TO OVER CHARGE CLIENTS AND MAKE MOENY FROM THEM UNREASONABLY. You made sure everything got so complicated and took longer to complete so you can charge for every email, every phone calls and also due to you causing complication for me, and you sending emails to city and putting them in position which means they had to shut me down.

James Hicks and his team of engineers at Evolve designed my business, Honeybrew Strudel Bar, back in 2020. James walked us through the building permit process at city hall seamlessly and when construction started he was very helpful guiding myself, the General Contractor, and the trades to complete our project successfully. In my opinion, James is the go to engineer for restaurants in Vancouver. Thanks again for your help James, looking forward to working with you on the next one!

We have completed multiple projects with Evolve. Every construction project has issues, but with James we have worked together to solve issues. James takes responsibility for his duties, analyses the situation, and works professionally and cordially (this is big in my books) to come to solutions.From my experience, it is evident James is a veteran in this industry.
