Sawmill Prime Rib & Steak House
Update:Tried the dinning room this time. Service was still on the slow side but for a more formal dinning room was on par with others in the city. Food was excellent and decor was exceptional and interesting to look at. Would recommend the fig/bacon dip for a starter.Slow service for a less than half full restaurant. Reuben sandwich was good as was Undecided. Dome Dessert was good but chocolate dome tasted like melting wafers and not chocolate.

Best place to eat out with the family. The food is delicious, and the service is great. I will most definitely be going back. Next time, we are in GP.

There was only 1 server and se was amazing and attentive. She really made sure we were taken care of.The food though. Start of the show. Was perfect temp and seasoned just right and was the juiciest prime rib I've ever had.

Sawmill Prime Rib & Steak House
Took the neighbours out for one last dinner before the third lockdown started... food was delicious, packed with a lot of flavour. Their prime rib is always a big hit with us. Customer service was great and the staff were very friendly and attentive even though the majority of them knew they were being laid off the next day. Will definitely be supporting this business again once restaurants can open again!

Our favourite place to come, sit back, relax have a few adult beverages and of course a 5 star meal. But what makes the experience 5 star is the exceptional staff- in particular both Rosie and Shalom. These ladies have such dynamic personalities with never ending smiles and converse with you like you have known each other for years. Makes for a very enjoyable evening where all your stresses are left at the door. Truly exceptional people and it is people like this that make you want to keep coming back. Wayne and Joel thanks for creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere and by hiring such outstanding personnel. The food of course is world class. Grande Prairie badly needed an establishment like this. I thoroughly enjoy the atmosphere every time I visit. The in-house made Old Fashioned(s) are excellent, and I heard very few complaints about the food quality from anyone at our table. Overall, it's a great spot for dinner.

Kate was an amazing waitress! She made our experience so fun and memorable. She made us laugh and was caring and made sure that everything was great. She was kind and patient. One of the best waitress you can have!
