Just came today to have my hair colour corrected, trimmed and extensions put in. Ronia does a fantastic job, so much care, including how she teaches and guides her students along.

Great instructors and great service when visiting this school as a customer! I am in awe of Ronia (instructor ) in her abilities to teach these students the required skills that they need as future hairstylists or barbers. I’ve had my hair coloured, cut and styled by students under Ronia’s supervision and they have not disappointed-at a fraction of the normal market price! If you have some time on your hands, I encourage you to try them out. You won’t be disappointed!

I went to AHC college to get a honey balayage and I’m extremely satisfied with the service. Two students named Emma and Ava worked on my hair together and everything was seamless. They were both very friendly throughout the process and were confident in their technique. Roniya who is the teacher of the college, constantly checked in to make sure everything was going smoothly. Roniya also provided her expertise to make the experience even better and to ensure optimal results. I am very impressed with my results and the overall experience. I recommend AHC college to anyone who wants to get their hair done!

Very good, knowledgeable teachers and most students really enjoy hairdressing. I feel comfortable doing my hair here, teachers overlook every step of the way. I became a regular customer.

AHC is an awesome hairstyling college! I’ve attended school here for about a year now. I just passed my hairstyling course not too long ago and got my diploma to be a certified hairstylist. the teachers are amazing and very friendly. Highly recommend coming here

Such a positive experience in AHC school. The instructors were amazing especially the main teacher in the hairstyling department . A great combination of friendly, patient, professional, encouraging and fun. I would recommend this course to anyone of any skill level looking to learn Totally worth it, you will learn so much in such a short amount of time. Highly recommended

Ronia is the best , experienced, and capable of many styles and cuts, she's amazing and great teacher , a great , professional experience ! Laila is great and I find her very knowledgeable in what she does with my hair. I trust this place now because of Ronia and soI have become a regular customer in trusting their work.

I’m a student who has graduated from this school in 2022. I would just like to share some experiences I’ve had while attending this school. During my time at this school was a disaster. The teachers are wonderful (Ronia, and Yasmin), which is why this review gets more than 1 star, soley because of them. Them 2 alone has made my experience amazing. However, besides the teachers the school has gone down hill. Upon first arriving at the school it was alright, until unfortunately the original owner decided to switch ownership. Ever since the new owner (which happened between the school year of 2021-2022) has changed the school for the worst. The current owner has no interest in hair or cosmetics of any sorts. During my time at the school there was another teacher (who left, amongst many others) who was forced to stay at the school to tend to the owners family and relatives without any pay. Once 4:00pm came around no one got paid for their hours. Myself along with friends would arrive to school early due to the type of transportation used (bus, or parents bringing their children before work), but once the colder months came the owner would lock the front doors until 9:00am, leaving students outside in the cold waiting until the owner decided when the students would be allowed inside. Same thing for the end of the days, once it was 4:00pm all students were forced outside to wait for their ride in the cold. (This is the experience I have received during the 2021-2022 winter season, I’m not sure if it has been dealt with this winter season , hopefully it has for the new students sake). Another issue that may have been addressed since my last time there was personal phones. This school allows 2 breaks and 1 lunch (very reasonable), during those breaks and lunch cellphone use is allowed, at some point during break, while students were on phones the owner threatened to take away all phones as if we were back in elementary school. The owner has also purchased cheap Walmart type brands to apply on clients hair. When at a hair school, I understand you do not need to have top notch hair products, but they are typically supposed to use a specific professional brand (such as Revlon, L’oreal, Wella, etc). At the end of my year (I was late to picking up my diploma as I was and am working full time at a salon), some attending students were keeping me informed with what has happened over the few weeks since my graduation, none of the students had nice things to say, and said nothing has changed (at the time). Overall those were my personal experiences with the new owner.My final take, don’t come here. The course curriculum is not followed very well due to the owner not willing to provide proper resources. Teachers who have worked there for years have left proving that it is not the same as what it once was, and I agree. Keep your money and look for a new school even if this school is closest to home. It’s NOT worth it. (I put 5 stars so that this review hopefully makes its way to the top of the page, otherwise I would give it 0 stars (besides the teachers))
