King Edward Apartments

Need to be honestEarlier this year I needed a place to live. I told them I was unsure how long I would be there as I had sold my house and was looking for another. I was told I did not have to sign a lease until I actually went to sign the paper work and all of a sudden I was informed that I either sign a six month lease or I couldn't rent. If they are going to make people sign a lease I should have been told when I first called, not when I go to sign the papers. In the end I had to pay an extra four months for an apartment I wasn't living at. Never again.

Seem like decent units. Kinda interesting that these units are constructed as Pods" and stacked together like Lego. Can't really tell from the inside or outside unless you saw them being assembled."

Wonderful place to stay ,safe secure and the resident manager , I have to mention her 100 percent helpful , and accurate really love the placeAlso I have to mention one of recent experience with resident manager joriza we have trouble to open and close out front door And I called her by 7pm and the office was closed ,even-though she came to fix that in 15 minutes even it was a -35 temperature here , awesome response

I lived here for approximately 1 year in 2022. The apartments are very cheaply constructed (knicks and dings practically everywhere, the window locks broke immediately upon trying to use them, etc.) but it's a perfectly serviceable apartment with outdoor parking & dedicated plugs, a front porch, and some minor amenities (gas grill, bike parking, smoking area). They do accept pets in a few of the buildings if you pay a pet deposit.Depending on where you live, you WILL hear your neighbors - I could hear my neighbor's dogs skittering around, when anyone played loud TV, children running, or loud talking. As a corner unit, the wind really made the whole building groan. But overall it was rather quiet - Lewvan is a medium hum and the airport is barely noticeable unless a helicopter flies overhead.On the positive side, the apartment is sealed within an inch of its life and heating/cooling was barely needed if you played your cards right. Was a boon with high energy prices! The service guys were really great and would fix issues immediately if requested.The management team was very accommodating of us needing to move in/out unexpectedly, but was rather uncommunicative on move out and I ended up being charged quite a bit for dusty baseboards. We also did need to pay for carpet cleaning, which I find a little annoying since carpet cleaning is traditionally paid for by the management company between tenants where I come from. All in all, a perfectly average apartment.Do be warned that it doesn't appear on Google Maps, even though it's about 4-5 years old, so food delivery drivers really struggle to find it and consistently got lost.

Visited friends that lives there. Look like small cool apartments. The building are clean and there’s a dog park very close. There’s a place to sit outside is sunny days. And visitors parking space

My friends live here and they like it. It's a cool place because it gives a great view of the south and you can see the large, lush expanse of greenery in the summer. It's so breath-taking. Its also quite central, a few minutes away from the Pasqua hospital to the North, and a few minutes drive away from the south end shopping malls. If you like living in a condo, this would be a nice idea to try out.

Decent place to rent

This is a wonderful place to live. The units are brand new, they are located in a nice community near many parks and trails, and Joriza, the Resident Manager, is a very kind and supportive friend to her residents. It is a joy to be a part of this community.
