The rooms are extremely small and the bathrooms ridiculously small. The rooms are new, and clean. The place is well kept. Wi-Fi included.

If you wanna sleep at night then keep on searchingWe chose this establishment for our weekend in Tadoussac. Promised bed and breakfast turned into a bed in a tiny room with cardboard walls... No breakfast at all, supposedly because of the COVID. The customer service was a big disappointment. The front desk agent was very cold and did not provide us with any information. Afterward, we tried to reach her a couple of times but she was never there. As for the room itself, it was clean, however, desperately missing some space. The biggest disadvantage was the constant noise, we were able to hear every step of our neighbors, as well as their conversations. Even though the curfew is supposed to be at 11, someone decided to throw a party in the open area which, together with all other noises, made it impossible to sleep until like 5 am. All in all, totally not worth the money and almost screwed up our vacation. Just stay away from this place. I don’t know if this hotel cares about its reputation but I would like to be contacted by the management in order to find a resolution.

Last minute booking, called in 2 days before Friday arrival in mid June. They gave me a double room at a discount since I was travelling alone. 80’s decor is dated, but amenities were great value. Shaded balcony and sliding patio door for fresh air. Very comfortable mattresses, duvets & pillows. Mini fridge to keep my beer & bottled water cool. Tad is small so I left my vehicle in the parking and walked everywhere. Choose rooms further back from the main road for more peaceful repose. Economical choice. Call for a better price.

We booked last minute for Tadoussac and this was the only option. The reservation asked us what time we will be there and I stated between 3-4. Unfortunately we couldn’t make it until 8pm. The office had a sign saying they charged me and gave me a room with key. The room was open and yes when we came in it was cozy. It was smaller than we expected but it was really clean. The walls are thin and we heard everything coming from the other room. There’s no air conditioning so it gets stuffy.As for the breakfast: they were kind enough to bag us two bags and put them in our room.

Awesome place to stay. Staff are friendly and beds are super comfortable. Our room was a bit hot during the day because it faced west but our nights were wonderful!

Is this made of lego bricks? The walls of this place are more frail than a cracker. We heard everything people in the other room said (even their thoughts). Bathroom was 2x1 m (I didn't even had the space to pee). On the lower rooms you're always it could fail over you... Oh, and they don't even speak/understand english, just french! We had to mimic things to talk" with those people..."

I booked this place through the Maison Hovington website, I did not know that the owners had more than one hotel. So keep in mind that Maison Gauthier is the one located near the road before your enter in Tadoussac.The queen size bed is more a double size and the room is tiny. Not so much place to navigate around the room even for a light packing couple on holiday.At least you can chill on the chairs in the backyard and you have the lake at 2 min walk of you want to take a swim. There is also a hiking trail nearby if you want to escape in the forest and enjoy a beautiful vue of the Fjord.No breakfast even if mentionned on the website due to Covid19, so I suggest you go to the bakery across the street L'emporté Coop for a good coffee and homemade pastries!All in all, do not except much...

the price was way too expensive for the small amount of places we had, it was clean but still the beds were uncomfortable and the walls were way too thin; we could here the neighbours on the other side. my family and I are disappointed to have had pay that much for only a bit…

We went here with our parents from Italy and the place is just AMAZING. The staff is really nice, the breakfast wow, the room clean! Just PERFECT
